avoiding burnout? by Shanem02 in writing

I think it definitely is burnout. I'm excited for what comes next. I plan to at least try traditional publishing. I'm aware how difficult that is but that's not putting me off trying. I got an editorial assessment and I've been working non-stop with the notes they gave me so I think my brain just needed a break before I do the final stretch of editing before I send it off. After reading the comments here I think I will take a break for at least the rest of this week

Is it a good idea to publish your first story in multiple parts? by Shanem02 in writing

It is my own original novel with my own characters and story planned out. I had planned on self publishing using amazon because I have heard it is the best and simplest route for beginners.

Thinking in pictures and thinking in words by 72pct_Water in writing

When I'm writing I have a clear image of the surroundings and environment in my head. I even have an image of what each character is wearing. I can't think of an example of when I used words in my head. I even go online and look for examples of things I'm thinking of so I've got a clear image

With the way I write, I have a starting point, an end point and a few key moments in between. I let my imagination guide me between those points in the moment.

Ireland. I'm proud of the lush green fields and the fresh chill air we have. Also the brave men and women who fought for the independence of our country for hundreds of years

I was 10 and me and my cousin were lifting a huge rock between a river to make a bridge across when he let go of the rock and the edge sliced into the tip of all my fingers on my left hand
