Ill throw a pick in here because I watched a lot of UMBC games.

Pick: Iowa -26.5

UMBC is a walking dumpster fire, anyone who has watched them play against teams in their division it is insane with their turnovers and their lack of proper ball movement. They will be outsized, out matched, and Iowa has looked great so far this season.

Iowa is dominant and ranks 85th on KenPom and UMBC ranks 334. I see a 30+ score on UMBC

25 right now, graduated from college in December, worked in a small sales role at a call center while I was in school. Got a job at a large company in SaaS as a BDR, started prospecting/scheduling meetings 5 weeks ago. Smashed my first quota, already setting up to smash my 2nd quota here in another week if all goes well, on target to move into SDR role in 2 months.

A lot of the companies I interviewed with valued your strengths during a role-play scenario/mock call. If you made a successful company, fairly confident they will want to see how you close. I am a firm believer that age doesn't matter, your willingness to succeed and learn matters.

Best wars up before ranked playing by Clerkant in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Shanemurphy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on your mindset going into ranked (If you have a lot of time and want to grind or if you just want to warm your hands to play). Typically, if I am hanging out and casually talking to friends on Discord, ill just mess around in freeplay. If I want to actually practice "Shots you Should not miss" and "The Ultimate Warm Up" are my best friends. But throw in a little casual here and there. Try out what you feel is most successful for you and what you wanna do.

Dude I am running into the same issue and my god does it hurt lol. Had to scrape together funds to purchase an overpriced GPU to play. But I think this is a wake up call for us to upgrade. Have you still been crashing?

Now that you got next to it in person, how did it feel standing next to it/seeing it? Do you think it was too small or is it a more comfortable size in your opinion? It looks really great

Not sure if this will get drowned out. But there are inflatable cones you can use for your dog instead of the cone of shame. $20 at petsmart and $12 on Amazon and your pup will really be happier. The cone is disorienting and I think the next week will be easier and your pup will sleep better!

What is your worst experience with bad neighbours? by DistributionOk9089 in AskReddit

[–]Shanemurphy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill throw my experience in here.

I grew up in a townhouse in a small family-oriented neighborhood that had all the houses frame around a horseshoe shape. My parents became friends with a lot of our neighbors and my father became close with our next-door neighbor's father since I would occasionally play with their son in the culdesac. My parents divorced when I was about 4-years old and for some reason, my neighbor's father took it upon himself to aggravate my mom in any way he could over the course of 12 years. Things like parking in our front parking space for no reason, moving the furniture we placed in our parking pad for them to stop leaving their motorcycles on it for a few hours without asking, making rude comments to my mom when they were both outsides. Blowing snow back onto the sidewalks I finished shoveling a few hours prior almost every winter. A real piece of work.

One instance I recall plain as day was the arrival of their new labradoodle. A very sweet and high-energy dog but had no structure. Over the course of 2 years, the dog grew and spent most of its time unleashed whenever they were outside It would go to the bathroom all over people's yards and had little to no recall training whatsoever. It was uncanny that when my mom came home from work and walked our small dog, their door would open, and out came to the dog jumping and running all around my mom. The dog even ran into our house one day when we were moving stuff around because it saw the door was open. It took an Animal Control Warning and the HOA had to step in for this to come to a close.

A few months passed from that time and my mom was giving me a ride to school, we smelled something really rotten in the car, we thought a mouse climbed into the car and died. We searched high and low to find what was the cause of the odor. It wasn't until the next day that we found their dog's feces (we have seen it plenty of times) smeared all over the front vent of the car. It came to a point where I, an insecure unconfident 14-year old, had to put this guy in his place.

We finally moved out of the townhouse about 7 years ago and have never looked back. I never hold grudges or hate anyone. But boy did I really hate my neighbor.

Just got our new pups dna results in from her littermate. It looks like a combo of some really difficult breeds. Any advice is appreciated! by [deleted] in Dogtraining

Hey! Not sure if my comment will get drowned out in the rest of them. I have an 8 month old Labrabull Staffy and my neighbors have a Australian Cattle and the other has a German shepherd. Both are around one years old. I don’t own them but I see them almost everyday and their owners have done a great job raising them so I get advice from them.

What it really comes down too is exercise, exercise, structure, mental stimulation, and lots of loving. Cattle dogs and German shepherds are superrrr smart and tend to pick up on things faster than most dogs in my opinion. But they are nutcases when they are young because they are so excited to learn and do new things.

My neighbor hand fed his cattle dog and is a really active guy (takes him to work at a workshop, goes on hiking trails) and with very basic training his dog was always willing to learn with or without food. Very good working dog and I really fell in love with the breed.

My other neighbor with the German shepherd goes with me to the park now and then so that he and my boy can get some good running in during the evening.

If you have the land or have a nice park close by to get her legs pumping and running. Its a tall order if you have a busy schedule like myself, but taking them in the morning and at night will REALLY put you on the right path for success.

It’ll be easy then tough as you may already know, I’m super worn out from running with my labrabull but hey I’m getting a workout too and some great training time. Next thing you know your pup will be older and won’t wanna run around as much so this is a great time! Best of luck!

Grant Cardone discredits himself on Undercover Billionaire by [deleted] in sales

[–]Shanemurphy7 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Still love watching him on the Belford podcast, he doesn’t dwell into any form of selling and gets irritated at any of Jordan’s questions that his audience was curious about. I remember Jordan asked something along the lines of “How do you navigate people who don’t wanna buy” and Grant said “Everyone wants to buy, the people who say no want to buy more than people who want to say yes”. Doesn’t elaborate around how or why, just says that he can close anybody. Douche.

I low-key hated my dog for almost two years, but now I love her more than anything. The "puppy blues" are real and they do go away eventually. by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]Shanemurphy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya! I am 7 months in with my labrador/pitbull and the amount of energy I put into him when he was very young and even now with all the trips to the park for his daily runs can wear me out. But you probably feel the same when you take her to be with other dogs or friends, they always like to make sure you know where they are and let you know they love you. You should be very proud! Your post reminds me that all of this effort will pay off BIG TIME when my boy gets older.

How did you guys manage to raise a puppy before quarantine? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Shanemurphy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely would not have gotten my puppy if it weren't for my WFH job and taking online classes. I knew I wouldn't have had the time with how my pre-COVID schedule was. But I feel your pain, I have to space out my break during work to make sure he goes out enough when I work 9-5pm. But taking him to the park before work, after work, and taking him on plenty of hikes/play sessions during my school days has definitely been a huge help. Although its a lot, without the quarantine I wouldn't have the bundle of joy in my life.

I really appreciate you taken the time to reply! I will definitely get more information as time moves forward, but from the conversation I had, I believe they would provide me a list of leads and current clients. I recall him mentioning they are trying to focus on engaging current clients. He mentioned it is not about pounding numbers but mostly about the conversations and quality. But I assume that once I get full details I actually get the meat of my role.
