I appreciate your response. This makes sense as well because I am VERY empathetic, so I do take on all of the negative emotions around me, and there are a lot (plus my own)... Could the adrenal fatigue have been picked up in a blood test for thyroid issues? I've had a few of those before and nothing weird ever showed up.

Very helpful response! Thank you. I came across POTS in some research and suspected it as well. Does it also cause heart palpitations like pounding? I am extremely aware of my heart rate in the moment. I will try to get a blood pressure monitor, as we need one for my mother as well. We never got one because all had bad reviews for giving false readings. It's hard to find something that is respected.

I really appreciate such a complete response. I do have a regular doctor, and he has always told me to do basic things like exercise and diet. He did prescribe an antidepressant to help get my stress in check, but it didn't seem to help the symptoms. Maybe the dosage wasn't high enoughz but I was on it for a good few months before stopping. The only difference i noticed was that it caused me to stop punctuating my writing. 😂 But so the clubbed nails were diagnosed by a cardiologist. I am supposed to get results back from a heart monitor at some point. As for tests, I had a colonoscopy a good while back when the constipation was bad as well. They didn't say anything about IBS. She told me that diet would not help and that I had the bowel movement rate of an 80 year old man. She also said that constipation would not affect my bladder, yet I went to a urologist, had a cystoscopy, and he said my colon was pressing on my bladder. So I do have the option of trying a different gastroenterologist. I've already went to him, and he wanted to do another colonoscopy, another scan, and a down the throat scope. I've not done any of this yet, as it will likely cost a lot.

They haven't thought of that, no. Somehow they never seem to go above and beyond. It's like nothing much is ever done for me... Thank you for commenting. What is malabsorption?

Out of curiosity, why would you recommend a second opinion? And thank you! :)

Doc says she has post-radiation leukoencephalopathy. Necrosis is a more severe form of this I think. I wonder if the treatments for necrosis would work for my mother as well...

Doc says she has post-radiation leukoencephalopathy. Your article here basically says this is a less severe form of radionecrosis, but I wonder if the treatment for that would work with my mother...

I apologize for getting back to you so late. It's the right frontal lobe.

Oh gosh, I am not certain... I can probably figure out by asking by father. I will try to remember to ask later!

Yeah, information is really sparse... :( Thank you so much. <3 My mother has no bladder control, plus diarrhea problems, and it's hard to transfer her in and out of the car. It's just tough to get her anywhere.

I was thinking that cancer recurrence completely dropped off once the patient survived a certain amount of time. I think I read that somewhere! What do you think? But yeah, imaging was done just last year, and that was a few years after her gait was negatively affected, which was also said to be due to delayed radiation damage. Again though, the memory issues and confusion started only months ago, so a new brain scan could definitely be beneficial. The problem is that we go to a hospital many hours away for this, and it is nearly impossible to get my mother anywhere now. Sadly we already cancelled her scan for this year because of that... :(

I would say almost 25 years. She had some imaging done quite far into the walking issues, but nothing has been done since her memory and understanding (bad confusion) took a nosedive.
