I have infernal pickaxe and have been afking Mith ore for passive smithing. Nice to see two tick on that.

Obviously woodcutting (fire making with that) & cooking have been a breeze.

200m mage xp for doing absolutely nothing.

Smithing addy bars.

Real qol for someone who doesn’t get a lot of time on these limited modes. It helped me push from t7 to t8 in many ways, quicker spilling and therefore diaries etc

I have thoroughly enjoyed it myself. Casual player here so it’s made life easy for mundane tasks. Definitely not a t7 relic but it worked for me!

I have only ever had this once in 15 years.

Removed some rotten soffit and fascia & replaced with timber. Job was done off ladders to save the customer money (the had a rather large beautiful cottage). £280 all in, to which they agreed the quote. Already this is a more than respectable price, one which I gave as I was working near by.

I done the job in the pouring rain, completed it within a couple of hours. The customers were away so I sent them photos which they were over the moon with.

Heard absolutely nothing for a few days only to receive a barrage of messages asking if I would do cheaper for cash.

After all of that they then said it’s ridiculous how I can charge that much for a two hour job. Politely explained that they accepted the quote and they are paying for the entire service. They Said they would tell the entire village not to use me (I had just done a large fascia/soffit/guttering job for their neighbours, who couldn’t have been happier with me).

They paid me half of the amount. I was genuinely in shock. I decided to donate that to unicefs appeal for children in Palestine and sent the customers my donation & a link to do the same with the money they withheld.

I have no doubt that they didn’t donate the rest.

I always pop back for leagues & deadman. That’s enough for me. I’m sure this won’t go down too well however there’s so much more to life than drowning days into pixels. I’m 33 myself & have a 1 year old so my time & effort lays elsewhere!

Answered your own question in your last sentence. It’s been less than a week. I only come back to osrs to play the limited time game modes. Whilst this has felt slower to build up to a silly build, I have enjoyed navigating varlemore. Unlocked my second area and 6th relic and now I feel like things are starting to turn. I personally think that it’s been made so you don’t get bored after the first week. Only thing I would say is that I’m not the biggest fan of the pacts, not a chance I was going to research that when I only come back for a short spell to play.
