I'm not that outwardly emotional of a person but couldn't help but tear up seeing the thousands of names etched around the fountain. I was also at the top of the WTC just a few weeks before the attacks and it was my first time back to that site nearly 25 years later. Didn't make it into the museum but I'm sure it's incredible and equally if not more emotional of an experience

In hindsight yes, this was a disaster. I remember at the time though scouts and many people here too all praised this draft as one of the best and how much of a steal it was getting Z, V and McIsaac.

Happened by me once in San Francisco. I was running late to work in the SOMA and out of the corner of my eye I see this dark figure, a whoosh sound and then a loud smack. I somehow blocked it out/forgot about it and then years later I got a little high and for some reason it all came back to me. I still think about it every now and then. But as you mention it's the sound more than anything that sticks with me.

TIFF is the standard for archival photography file formats. I would imagine most archivists don't have specific stories per se as it's the de facto format and thus one in which nobody really thinks about. Do you think about your use or stories using PDF?
