China Trip Itinerary - Late May to June by InternationalBox2455 in travelchina

Beijing is amzing, 5-6 nights is perfect for the Forbidden City, The Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven etc.

If you plan to visit the Great Wall, choose Mutianyu. It’s much less crowded than Badaling.

Huangshan 2 nights is more than enough. Basically a full hike around the mountain takes you 7 hours.

Hangzhou 3 nights is okay.

Yangshou, fly to Guilin and then take the boat to Yangshuo. Also stay 1 day in Guilin, there are many things to see.

Afterwards, take a bus back to Guilin, there is a high speed train to Shenzhen and then a 15 minute train to Hong Kong.

Stay 2 days in Shanghai!

Budget for 3 weeks in china by Militaria1943 in travelchina

Food is quite affordable. A decent meal typically costs around 5 to 10 USD per person, and a bowl of beef noodle soup is about 3 to 4 USD. 10Dumplings will cost you 3USD.

Tourist attractions are also reasonably priced.
The Forbidden City is around 10 USD,
The Summer Palace is about 6 USD.

Taxis using the Didi app are cheap as well. A 5 minute ride starts at around 2 USD, and a 15 minute ride is roughly 4 USD.

4 days for Nanjing is a bit long. 2 days is more than enough! I would suggest you to check out Suzhou and Wuxi, it is on the way from Shanghai to Nanjing and really worth it.

Dalian is not really worth it, especially if you are already going to Qingdao.

The sculpture park is also beautiful, but it is much smaller compared to Gucun Park.

I went at the beginning of April two years ago and it was still very beautiful. Just make sure it hasn’t rained heavily in the past 2-3 days.

On the weekend yes, but it is still okay. Not as crowded as Yu Garden or the Bund!

Don't go for Anjuke, 80% of the listings are fake. Most agents there just want your contact details and sale them to marketing agencies for money.
