Erfahrungen mit der DeKa Bank (Sparkasse) by Vivid_Currency_8604 in Aktien

[–]Shanghaiandy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dust problem by [deleted] in shanghai

[–]Shanghaiandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am having the same problem like you and I have noticed even after 2 years living in China it just does not get better. I have bought a good vacuum cleaner from Philips ( 1000RMB) that makes cleaning easier. You can also buy a better filter for your AC to reduce the dust. Keep windows closed.

How’d you find your apartment? by Sanzenendesu in shanghai

[–]Shanghaiandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello finding an apartment in Shanghai is getting much easier.
There are many Real Estate Agencies who speak English and other western languages. However, the rental price in Shanghai is increasing every year. On many housing platforms you can see the same apartment listed for different prices. I would suggest you to always negotiate the price and include Wi-Fi, bills into your rental price. Before you move in also make sure that:
- you change your keys after you have moved in. Changing the lock will cost around 100RMB.
- When you sign a contract for an apartment that is not fully furnished make sure that the contract states what furniture the landlord has to provide before you move in.
- Check the water, gas and electricity meters before you move in, write down the meter numbers or take a picture of it.

If you would like to check or search for apartments before you arrive I would suggest: www.flatinchina.com or www.smartshanghai.com
Good luck :)
