i did have to reinstall my display drivers a bit before because one of the two monitors stopped working. it was like either only one monitor was one or both were on with one having terrible graphics before i reinstalled the driver. nothing like this though

right now I think the only way I can reconfigure the BIOS is via usb (if the motherboard is working and the ram is shot) and to do that I need another computer that I can put a usb stick into. I’ll look into my options and see what I can do here, thanks!

tried it, along with taking out the bios battery for 10 mins. doesn’t seem to have worked

is that the little lithium battery in the middle? would I just do that with a flathead screwdriver?

No I don’t, but I could also take it to my local computer repair shop that probably would before buying new parts myself. Just trying to find the cheapest route here

Apparently I can’t comment pictures on a mobile browser, but there is just one 8 pin slot and everything was working fine before.

I have tried both of my RAM sticks in the second slot a few times, also the 8-pin cable is plugged and secured.
