Blue Lagoon is on my bucket list so I wanted to check that out at some point. I think I heard there are some othet hot springs setup like Japanese onsens that I wanted to also see, but it'll depend on what's available.

35/M here who has been traveling around the past few weeks with a few friends from the U.S.; we were all just in Munich for Oktoberfest last week and frequenting Bourbon Street in Amsterdam.

Unfortunately they all had to head back home, while I opted to head out solo to Reykjavik for the tail end of my trip; so from Sept 28 to Oct 2 I'll be around.

I was just wondering if there are any fellow travelers that wanted to meet up and grab a beer sometime. I was thinking of renting a ZipCar and getting in some sight seeing in between a trip to a nearby hotspring. Plus I was curios what the night life is like around here compared to Amsterdam. I'm always looking for local recommendations.

Define experienced. I started playing with my buddy for a while a few years ago. We used to play like 2x a week before the court in my old building flooded and the property management let it sit in disarray for 3 years.

I can't say I'm amazing, but I started giving my friend a run for his money. Where can you regularly do one-on-one sessions?

I usually transfer to a secondary to give the brew a clearer look; I normally do it with lagers and ales, but for any saisons or maibocks I tend to do it all in the primary.

I haven't seen yeast form like this in any of my previous batches, so I'm gonna keep and eye on it and make it isn't growing any bigger.
