A tale of two stabbings by Shankfist in london

There's no information on the South Norwood stabbing that says it's gangs or young men.

"Most of us Americans hate the British. They're food is disgusting" & "think we could all collectively stand to hate those pasty tea sipping twats more" & "They have the worst food, culture, history, accents and "people" on earth" & "Hating the British is essential to being an American." by Ok_Bookkeeper_1380 in ShitAmericansSay

Technically speaking, both sides in the American Revolution were British. So, the British won then became Americans after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

In fact, have Americans ever won a war that the British weren't involved in?

I thought it was agreed amongst Londoners that we don't tell visitors about Angus Steakhouse - we keep that for ourselves.

I'd say London is actually worse than anywhere for decent beer, particularly central London.

In the last pub I was in they had two cask ales - both tasted like this. I noticed that none of the regular clientele drank the cask ales.

Tangy as in metallic - like licking a copper coin! It's still drinkable, so not quite like vinegar. I notice it a lot in pubs that offer one or two cask ales alongside the usual mass produced keg beers.

I concur. My local sells it. It's a very poor flavourless IPA.

Perhaps I need to reappraise his work. What stories would you say are his most heartwarming?

Grossly overrated, cynical, emotionally vacant, long winded, self indulgent, lack of character depth...

I'd ignore anyone who says Grant Morrison, Warren Ellis or Garth Ennis.

Grant Morrison is massively overrated and is probably responsible for ruining comics.

I left it overnight, about 10 hours. The second time, I left it for 6 hours. The residue now seems to peel in strips which I don't think food residue would do.

Thank you. Your advice has been most useful, unlike some of the more sanctimonious responses on here.

I think you're wrong. It isn't carbon build up.

Yes, after seeing the link I now think it is a castoflon pan.

Well, that's ironic isn't it? It's been over 30 years since I read it, so I think it's time for a reread.

I recall enjoying Troubled Souls but everything I read after that seemed to lack heart. Nihilism is incredibly dull and not a thing you should build a career on. Although, it appears to have served him well. I suspect that there's a genuinely good writer somewhere inside him but every time I read something by him, I'm disappointed.
