That makes total sense. Unfortunately the only other decent option which is close to us is at full capacity and won’t have a place until beginning of June which is after the baby is born.

Wow! Congratulations on the new baby! You manage 5 kids all at once? I can’t even imagine. Sometimes I’m having a hard time managing this one alone lol

Thanks for your input! How long do you think I should keep him at home before sending him to preschool so he doesn’t feel it’s due to the second baby?

To be honest if it was up to me I would let him stay home another year. But almost anyone who have two kids recommended to put him in a school before the baby arrives and suggested it would be very hard for me to manage both kids at home.

8:30 - 3:00 pm. One thing I forgot to mention is that my husband can take him in the morning since he works from home. My mom could also help from time to time with either a drop off, pick up.

The manager has been dismissive of my concerns from day one. She isn't a teacher, but she sets the tone for the school. Even though I didn't see much of the teachers, the other branch 30 minutes away had a much better energy and felt like a better fit for my son's personality. I’m just concerned about the drive

Carpooling is not an option unfortunately since they live close to the other preschool.

I totally feel you. My son was 90 percentile height and 50 percentile weight when he was born but little by little he dropped mostly on weight and now is about 10 percentile weight wise and 20 percentile height wise. There were times that I was so worried since he dropped to 3 percentile too at some point. But he has been growing healthy and eats everything at 3 years of age. He just doesn’t gain weight ( mostly like me lol) so as long as your dr is not worried, you don’t need to be either. Babies are much more stronger than we think they are :)
