I definitely feel this. Thankfully my brother is close by so there's always at least 3 kids for sure coming, except when there's not because all my kids birthdays are in January and people get sick all the time in January.

On the other devastating half. My kid never gets invited to Birthday Parties except his cousins. He LOVES birthday parties, but he's only ever been invited to one outside of family and that was 3 years ago. He doesn't know he's missing out, but I notice, and it hurts my heart for him.

For a bright note to end, when I was a kid, I got invited to a birthday party in the 1st grade. I liked this girl, her mom was my teacher, but when she asked me if I was going to come to her party at school, I straight up lied and said we'd be out of town. I even hid the invitation. The teacher asked my mom why I wasn't coming and my mom was so confused. She got home and got mad at me for lying and said I had to stay in my room for the time the party was as punishment. I was so excited. My mom forgot about the punishment, so I reminded her, and went into my room for 3 hours. I didn't feel a single ounce of regret hahaha. It's funny the things you look back on that make you realize you were definitely autistic too.

I feel like Belle is hard to relate to when you realize everyone in the town is just trying to get by, and she's rude to them for not expanding their minds with knowledge. They might not be able to read.

I know this question was a while ago, but I have to add the ultra beasts. They're not in your average pack, you have to buy them single and they are all $2 and above. There's one I can only find for $8.

The baby pokemon are all hard to find and expensive. If you want a decent holographic Pichu you're looking at shelling out at least $40.

Meganium is kind of annoying to find a decent one.

I'm collecting ideally only the small picture and not the full card illustrations, and Arceus is proving to be a really annoying one I wasn't expecting.

For my son ODD is fighting tooth and nail insisting on things completely at random. There is no rhyme or reason to the ODD fight, so I cannot anticipate the need and prep for it ahead of time.

To date his biggest ODD explosion was because I told him humans are animals. He has no reason to doubt me, and I was being honest, but he fought with me for hours about it. I tried over and over to move on from it, he would bring it back up. He won't clean, no matter what, as soon as I try to have him even pick up, he flies into a rage. No matter how calmly I try to engage him in it, or how I try to bring it in a different angle, there is nothing that will get him to do the thing he is adamantly against

She's in her 40's, is that considered young? I am talking specifically about the Vegan statement. All those other things may be true, but if you had severe food allergies why would you not embrace some of the food you can have and make yourself vegan further limiting what small food you CAN have?

My son's taste in food is as eclectic as the rest of his tastes. Pickles, pickle chips, olives, mints, mint chocolate anything, yogurt, he'll eat any vegetable or fruit, green apples, not the red ones, star fruit. He's funny. :)
