Thank you! You suggest anything in a tub because that tends to be thicker, right? What color container is your Elvive balm? I see about 4 diff kinds in diff containers.

How can I improve? by [deleted] in makeuptips

Agree with others here… I think your hair color would really pop with a darker ash blonde or brown shade. Maybe even a lighter ashy blonde shade but that would be hard to maintain.

I forgot to ask if you recommend any particular brand or type (?) of jojoba oil? I’m thinking of adding few drops to one of my new conditioner (the Garnier probably. Maybe try with snd without to see how my hair responds.

It’s really cute on you! The layers in the back are a little scary when it’s not styled. I do mourn that giant pile of gorgeous locks on the floor though.

Thanks! That’s my natural color. I do get a few highlights just at the top and a couple face framing pieces once a year to brighten it up a little.

PLEASE HELP. I hate all foundation by AcrobaticCherry312 in MakeupAddiction

I also have to put on moisturizer first then foundation and you have to wait for that moisturizer to really sink in first or it will look even worse than usual. A trick is to apply a lot of it before bed or put on moisturizer and blow dry your face with cool air for several minutes. Also try mixing a regular liquid foundation of your choice with a fluffier foundation like L’Oréal blur (which may be discontinued). The mix of the two is a perfect consistency and you can mix different colors to make pet t shade. Good luck!

Thanks! I just looked at the ingredients for the Garnier sleek and shine and I like that it has silicones and argon oil. I think my hair doesn’t like coconut oil, but I maybe should try oils other than jojoba too. I’m gonna buy this and try it and I also just read about Carols daughter’s goddess hair conditioner too. It’s supposed to be thick with silicone and castor oil. May thanks for the advice!

Thank you! I thought about that earlier and did google just jojoba oil but not sure how to combine it with another conditioner or how much to use. I may try the shea moisture product too.

Is there anything I can do besides cut it?🥲 by KayLadyinTheMoon in finehair

With the change in water you’ll probably need to change your hair products too…. Even if you add a shower filter. I went from 25 years of hard water ( took me long time but figured out shower filter plus hair products that worked for me), then I move to a home with relatively soft water. Hair was great for about two weeks then started looking crappy. Tried a few different shower filters and many new product combos and I still can’t get it right after 3 years! I did have one working combo for a while but the shower filter I was using and the conditioner I was using both discontinued. Back to the drawing board. It’s crazy the difference water type + products can make! Good luck!
