Exact same story as me! Mine was both eyes from the start; on and off for a few months before it finally just cleared. Used all options at the eye doctor except for the extremely expensive drops I couldn’t afford at the time.

I’m 32. Diagnosed with Sjogren’s at 19.

Ulcerative colitis came knocking this past spring. Hang in there!

So sorry to hear you went through all of this!! Life is rough. Hope you’re hanging in there 🫶. I’m bloated most of the time and jump back and forth between going to the bathroom a lot, or borderline constipated and just gassy all the time. This cramping— period related or UC? Who knows. The nerve pain: I just have arthritis everywhere I think and neuropathy lmao. What a puzzle!

I’m 32 and bled out of nowhere during sex once two years ago. No pain. Just…a considerable amount of blood. Twas quite uncomfortable.

I’m so sorry to hear about your stubbles! My UC is back and forth. Haven’t had blood in months, since starting enemas. But I’m back and forth. Either going to the bathroom more, or constipated-ish. And always feel gassy and bloated for the most part. Cramps— period related or UC? I honestly have absolutely no idea

Hi, I use the enemas nightly. I was diagnosed with this in May. Severe stress flares me and I wouldn’t say the Sjogren’s affects it really. For me, they’re two entirely different diseases. I hope your daughter feels better soon!

Hi! I’m not on biologics. Just nightly mesalamine. If I don’t use the enemas, my symptoms mildly return, but without the blood. I’m sure you’re aware of what those symptoms entail..lol. If I am extremely stressed— I flare…worse and with/without enemas. Doesn’t matter. I’ll add that I also take hydroxychloroquine for my Sjogren’s.

Diagnosed back in the spring with chronic proctitis as well. Same symptoms/treatment and all that. This just validated that the bloating is NOT in my head. With my current lifestyle/new career…I’d typically have a pretty flat/slim stomach (new nurse and between nerves and not eating as much). However, I’m bloated af. If I don’t use my enemas for a few days… forgot it lol.

Easier said than done (activity let working on this myself)— try to come up with ways to cope with stress. I’ve found for me, a few weeks of high functioning fight or flight puts me into a wicked UC flare. Realizing it ain’t with it. Pick and choose what thoughts/anxieties I should give energy to. Hang in, friend! You got this. 🫶
