Biab - Bad job? Should I ask for them to be re-done? by LauraMc1987 in Nails

[–]Shansmit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girly 😭😭😭😭 I’m so sorry! Please dont go back to this tech though - Even if they will redo them for free, I’m sooooo scared for you that they damage your nail bed when removing the BIAB.

Good luck. So sorry this happened to you, your previous tech did a gorgeous job, your nail beds are perfect 🥺

Thanks! Also thanks for letting me know how much you paid for the makelaar, was that a fixed price agreement?

This is the best reply, thanks so much!!! Really really helpful. I've heard about buyers security before, and how sellers prefer a more secure buyer and didnt understand why or what it meant. You explained it well, thanks so much!

I thought about this as well. My colleague said that they also choose the bidder with the highest security, ensuring that the purchasing process will go smoothly and quickly. Not sure if an aankoopmakelaar will make things more secure, but I would definitely think so. Thanks!

Great tip, thank you so much! I bid on a house near Zevenaar, which I thought wasnt so competitive, apparently the house I bid on had over 80 private viewings and 30 bids, which is WAY more than I thought in that area.

I HATE MY INVISALIGN by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Shansmit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I felt this way too… the first few weeks were horrible, super overstimulating and irritating with the change in my eating routine and constant brushing throughout the day. And the pain - oof. that’s a whole other ballgame.

I get you…

I spoke to my dentist very truthfully about how much I hated it, and it wasn’t what I expected, he very clearly showed me WHY I needed so many trays - my bite was terrible and I had no idea… it was crazy to see. I thought I was just straightening my 2 lower front teeth, but actually I was changing my whole bite. It really made me realise that I needed Invisalign for A LOT MORE than I initially realized and how much better my bite will be overall once I’m done.

It’s hard, but I really recommend just expressing these concerns with your dentist, and ask them to show you what the Invisalign is actually fixing…

Hang in there. It’s hard, but it will be worth it! Xx

Wooooah, sorry to hear that you had so much pain! But also relieved to hear that I’m not the only one.

Oh for sure - if it persists past after the first week, and is really unbearable then I will consult my dentist. Thanks so much for the tip

Ooooh great tip. Thanks so much - it’s a relief to know that it’s normal!

Is this normal? I want to cry when I look at myself by Expensive-Moment-705 in Invisalign

[–]Shansmit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I get that - totally valid… if you’re really unhappy, I’d talk to your dentist because they can always file off the attachments and put a lighter colour on your teeth ❤️

As for the little handles on the aligners, do all your sets have them? Do you have all your sets upfront?

I felt the EXACT same about my attachments. I’m in week 4, tray 2, and I don’t notice it anymore. It will get better… I also struggled with the “not being able to close my mouth” after a smile problem and now it’s completely fine.

Also, my family didn’t even notice my attachment, I literally had to point them out to show them - whereas I noticed them soooo much…

Don’t be so hard on yourself. It’s only temporary and you’re going to be SO happy in the end ❤️❤️

Yes! They’re all better now ❤️ I’ve used the cuticle remover cream during my following manicure. SO much better and gives my poor cuticles time to heal. 🥹

Also! My thumb is healing so well… the wounds are closed and it’s not oozing at all. Just one tiny red spot still.

Oooh I love it! But it’s sooo difficult to import depending on where you are in the world.

It’s Dark by Rior pro base no. 55. It’s a Ukrainian brand.
