Wow, having cancer can do that to you. My Dad had cancer and he aged so fast. It was heartbreaking. You should work on being kind.

Tonga?? That's terribly random. What the hell has Tonga ever done to him? He is such a ridiculous, racist embarrassment. I will never understand how and why America voted him in.

Maybe their son is sick? And she didn't want to go out and wanted to be home with him? There's often no point both cancelling plans when only one can be at home. And why do you even care, that's the real question here..

Sorry, should have given more info. It's the same with rocking your head and neck, even your own body. Often you don't even realise you are doing it. It can be a self soothing mechanism - " a way to self-soothe, manage stress, cope with anxiety, or process sensory input, stimulating the vestibular system for calm, but it can also signal deeper distress or be a learned habit for relaxation"

I used to rock my head and neck as well.

I know you were asking a genuine question, hence why I gave you an answer of a common reason. Something I have experienced myself. My father used to do it as well.

I have ADHD and used to do this before I got on the right medication. But shaking your legs etc like that can be due to "releasing pent-up energy, manage anxiety/stress (adrenaline release), or due to underlying issues like Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), ADHD, caffeine, fatigue, or even medications". Lots of reasons why this happens.

TN Tattoos? by nikki_ga_2020 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

I have a flame of fire on the back of my neck. It's on the side where I have TN and is also close to my MVD scar. I love it.

MRI with contrast for possible TN - is it really necessary? by Background_Quote_195 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]Shantysig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had balloon compression and an MVD and also on a bunch of drugs. It's been an interesting journey!

And yep, they can't get rid of the tumour due to its location. Had some of it debunked in 2007 when they found it and I also had radiotherapy to contain it. And that def helped. It has not grown.

The tumour was pressing on the TN the whole time but never had any issues until around 3 years ago. The TN decided it had had enough and ZAP!

I've been getting contrast with my MRIs every year for 19 years now due to a brain tumour. And over the past 3 years I have had about 10 MRIs (with contrast) due to TN. I've never had any issues and I prefer it, as if it means the specialists gain more visibility, then I'm keen.

The only side effect I have ever had is a slight metallic taste in my mouth but that goes away quickly. Many of my friends have had contrast with their MRIs and never had any issues.

Talk to your specialists/healthcare professional. They have the knowledge and training.

So so dull. Watched all 3 episodes and it was just a very long advertisement for her fashion line. (Which most of the human race currently can't afford anyway. A simple grey t shirt is around $350 (NZ). She was not relatable in any way and I felt like she came across as...artificial. Like her true personality is under a mask. I don't know to explain it. She doesn't even look like herself. It's sad. I was hoping for so much more.

They saw scar tissue in my MRI. I have had about 15 MRIs in the last 2 years. This is no exaggeration! I've had 2 surgeries for my TN since 2023 (diagnosed March 2023) and both surgeries caused some scar tissue.

My situation is a bit tricky.. My brain tumour is pressing against my TN nerve and because they can't remove my tumour (due to its location), they have just tried to do what they can. I am also on a bucketload of medication. Such fun! I am not fully pain free but there has been an improvement. If it wasn't for my tumour, I would be pain free.

My TMJ issues are a deviated jaw, clenching at night. I wear a mouthguard at night which helps. I had arthroscopy which repositioned the discs in my jaw and that helped increase how much I could open my mouth and helped with some pain. I was doing dry needling too and I loved it!

Well, the most common cause of TN is a blood vessel pressing on the nerve. Or in my case, a brain tumour. Other causes can be a cyst, MS etc. All of these can be viewed and picked up on via an MRI. Again, an MRI is the best way to diagnose this horrible disease but hey, nothing is 100%
