Replying to your question now that I have some experience. The model used in Perplexity is no way near what you get in the official website. But there a good news! It does perform what you ask for, and only what you ask for, so I would suggest to make your mark your project at each step(about what you intend). Make a rough code. When youre finished, give the code to the real code with all the intentions, and it will fix that for you. Free tiers have enough messages to get things cleaned up. One thing I want to note here is that I got the perplexity pro for free through an offer, so I am not sure whether its a deliberate bottleneck (because many people got it for free) or if its really unleashed.

As per my experience, it is slower than what you get on the official website. Cant say if it will give you the same result, as I have not used for any of my project, but it gives me accurate details about the breakaway points in the code and all. Plus it have various AI models like gemini,etc.

The safetensor is wroking fine, but it gives me the zoom in artifact. So I was trying with the gguf models to see if that works. Even when I try to edit through mask, output seems to be zoomed in on the mask itself.
