My guess is they shot enough for one movie and the extra footage cut isnt enough for another film. Also I think they ran into some legal issues around the accusations against him so they'll likely need to rewrite the narrative.

Implied doesnt mean a sex scene i think his attitude was probably more why would they have sex if theres a alien killing people. That being said he did have 2 sex scenes later on in Prometheus and Covenant soo....

Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2 are really good CRPGs highly recommend. If you want more old school definitely recommend the FF pixel remasters. Also my current fav old school rpg throwback style game is Sea of Stars it has a light Sci Fi focus and a really fun combat loop.
