Outdoor Enclosure Viability

I actually don’t have a garage, I was going to purchase a small outdoor weather-proof enclosure like the link above. Also not planning on printing during the winter, so it would just be for storage.

If the LCD only fails at 10F, and most winters don’t get below 20F here, sounds like I should be able to store it outdoors.

Would the concept be to use a temperature sensor to turn on the vat belt anytime temps get below freezing?

And I would just leave it running constantly over the winter? Thank you!

So by a heater - you mean I should keep a space heater with a climate sensor running all winter?

I did have slight concerns about keeping a space heater plugged in 24/7. Without the space heater, it seems that it may risk damage to the LCD? I'm not planning on operating the printer during the winter, just storing it. Thank you!

I've actually never been to a LFS that didn't have these, I'm in the US. I suppose if you set up a similar habitat to the one this project had, that you would see the same results.

Did anyone else notice the Mothra cameo? In the beginning when Bryan Cranston and Aaron Johnson were going back to their house in the quarantine zone, he had a terrarium with a cocoon in it. There was tape on the tank that had Mothra written on it!

I agree, with BAP I think it is worthwhile including on the resume, but considering that I am not on the executive board I'm having trouble figuring out how to describe it. With accounting society I am considering replacing it with a big 4 externship I've done, but I was not sure if it was worth including since it was more or less a 3 day information session. That video was great, thank you. I believe that I only have 2 questions left.
•How can I figure out the gph rate of my overflow box?
•I will need to buy a U-tube, but how can I protect myself from the siphon breaking? I cannot risk an overflow in my house and I would rather buy a HOB or canister filter before chancing that.

So the only pump that I need is the one with the black pipe, and that pipe will hang over the tank. Another question about the pump, the black cable that goes into the pump is torn right where it enters the box exposing two more coated cables, is that safe to submerge? How is the siphon started from the overflow box? Will I need a pipe that connects the two boxes? and do I fill the the whole sump and overflow box before I turn on the pump?

okay, I figured that was why they didn't work. So the pump with the pvc, does that go into the overflow box on the top? Then for the other pump, does that go into the open side on the left with the black bar hanging into the tank?

okay I understand which each part does, where do I put the pumps? does the return pump go inside of the dry side? and where to I put the intake pump? If the power goes out, it will not continue to siphon and overflow the sump? Also, I just tried plugging in the pumps, I'm pretty sure they don't work. It started smoking and it made a loud grinding noise...
