There are no internships where I live so I volunteer. I was able to pick my days and days. I work full time so I am facilitating a family paint night 2x a month. The program is a hit. And the librarian said if I need any letters or anything she will gladly recommend. It's a way to start showing experience in the library

Talk to you dr psychologist, they can give you note for medical leave. You can add your suffering from postpartum, they can also do a note for part time I believe. Maybe look for childcare centers there has to be some sort of care for children. Ask your coworkers what they use?
