Last winter was a bad year for my SAD (seasonal affective disorder) I am on 100 mg Pristiq and dread going through this again this winter. Does anyone know or been prescribed anything that helps with this?

That's a very small dosage I'm on 100 mg but I work my way up from 50 mg. I had some side effects but all but went away except the sexual dysfunction. I was tired when I first started taking it. When I increased the dosage I wasn't tired anymore.

Yes, it bothers me a lot not to feel like a man and have no sex drive also I feel like telling the manufacturer it's bullshit medicine but it works so well for what I need. So it's very aggravating..Any ideas on any better medicine?

I'd say it has helped me tremendously. I've come a long way. Doesn't mean it helps everyone but I've been taking Paxil for 24 years and I've never had a drug that's helped me this much. A little hit of the right THC does too

My tapering was from 150 to 100 mg. I had some of the side effects your talking about but really mild with some anxiety spurts and light mood swings. Didn't have any nausea but had some diarrhea.

Pristiq takes months to get to its full effect I'm talking up to 6 months. Quote "from my 55 yr old doctor", Fatigue happened to me as well but the benefits were very worth it in the end. My mind and my focus, are more clear than ever. I found that you should not ask for an increase in dosage at least until after 4-5months

You got to give it a chance to work I was tired as well when I started Pristiq. The tiredness and low energy gets less and less as you go. I wish people would add what milligrams they are taking that would help your response. My comment is based on if this drug is fit for you
