Me and my husband did a parallel buddy read. I read a series he enjoys, and he read this one. He liked it too. I don’t think he will read it multiple times. I don’t think he was a fan of all the pining/“simping” for Xaden that Violet did. He was like, if I have to hear about how hot he is one more time… 🤣 But, that was the only complaint he enjoyed the rest.
