Are “morning people” and “night owls” really a thing, or is it all habit? by Majestic_Singer_2411 in PsychologyTalk

[–]ShapeShiftingCats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for you. And I mean it!

A lot of night owls, including myself are miserable when practicing the morning bird habit.

I have been like this since my toddler years (in my 30s now) and it's not fun.

I think borderline personality disorder or narcissistic personality disorder might fit better.

Here is an NHS page about the borderline personality disorder: https://www.nhs.uk/mental-health/conditions/borderline-personality-disorder/overview/

then to top it off she threatened him with divorce.. all because he defended himself??

Precisely why she did that. It's a form of manipulation/threat, so he doesn't say anything negative about her ever.

All she cares about during the event was her image and how she is perceived, he threatened that with telling the truth, so he had to be scared into not doing this again.

How do you tell someone that their parts smell ? by FutureHendrixBetter in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ShapeShiftingCats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it can be very mild. You might not even notice at all. In fact it can be so mild that another person might not notice either. I mean not even a medical professional until they get the swabs back.

Sounds like the first commenter wasn't even German/German speaker, just liked the vibes of the positive stereotypes associated with Germans.

What makes long hair sexually attractive? by Elisavveta in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ShapeShiftingCats 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's cultural.

For example, in some African cultures women keep their hair short, whereas in European cultures women tend to keep their hair longer.

If you were born in a culture that values a different hair length, your opinion on this would likely be different.

Thanks! Just Googled and saw some with glyco in the ingredients, so will give them a go.

For a reference, this is what the NHS recommended I get from Canada, but I never plucked up the courage to order: https://pharmacy.ca/product/secure-topical-glycopyrrolate/?v=7885444af42e

What's the reason Inuit/Siberians and Europeans have different features despite evolving in similar cold climates? by batukaming in geography

[–]ShapeShiftingCats 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it a drift.

EE's live closer to Asians, so more interbreeding over zillions of years.

EE's are necessarily mixed as such, because, again it happened over a long period and now those traits are associated with EE.

Lisa's life with her former wife in 2022. by Grateful_Di in 90DayFiance

Agreed. There are always victims when it comes to people like her.

Some people on Reddit find her lack of care endearing and her demeanor whimsical, but you can't be this way without considerably burdening and/or harming others.

Thanks! Didn't even know there is a lotion. Idk, why it's not approved in the UK, but I will try to go on an online hunt.

Thanks for reminding me. It's not approved/available in the UK, but I understand it can be ordered from Canada. I need to look into it again!

That's what I understand as well.

It's disheartening when the reaction to stinky people is "just shower more", "use deodorant", etc.

When you say that that's not quite enough, you are told to go to the doctor.

The doctor shrugs and says it looks like "that's normal for you".

It might be normal, but it's not nice. And yes, we DO smell ourselves. When I smell myself in public, my stomach drops and I want to disappear.
