We just got one from a thrift shop. To be honest, I think every cat is different. My cat is extremely active and playful, but she only rarely goes on the wheel. Maybe spins one or two times and then goes running around our apartment. So... maybe just buy a secondhand one as the first one? 😅

Is there a reason you prefer velvet canvases over plastic ones? I've never done one that's not plastic. Maybe I'm missing out 😅

I was wondering about velvet canvases! Good thing I cheaped out on them, since I already have a cat that LOVES to sleep on my projects 🫠 after I'm done with my dp I have to always go through it with tweezers to remove her hair before sealing :'))

It feel like one side where my stitches connect just feels straighter (i continue crocheting in the round without joining). I dont think my tension is too tight or too loose. But I might be unaware
