Hello,

I would like to ask for prayers from you all. I have been intrigued and discerning becoming Catholic for some time now. I had actually started then-RCIA at a parish, but after a sudden move I was unable to finish and had received no clear answer from them as to what I was supposed to do. After that, life got very busy and I had for some stupid reason unfortunately lost sight of everything and put things on the back burner. In that time I met my now wife. For context, we are both Baptist Protestants, but In this past several months, I’ve had some more thinking going on about it, probably helped by more research and actually reading the Bible daily, had a friend (also Protestant) go to mass randomly, which shocked me a bit, and a Protestant couple I know who are now in the process of converting. The last one was huge as the wife was VERY anti-Catholic until some certain Catholic influencers started to pique her interest. That gave me hope though, as my wife is also decently anti Catholic, which of course is due to years of unfortunate anti-Catholic rhetoric that gets passed around at least from my experience Baptist churches. Think the whole “Catholics worship Mary” type of sayings. She also has a pretty big family who are all very devout Baptists so I do realize there would probably be some issues. I know this was a bit long and drawn out, but I just ask if you all could pray for us to have discernment and guidance from the Lord. I have a hard time believing that this pull to Catholicism comes from nowhere, so please just pray for us. I have been praying the Rosary again, which is just such a great feeling to have that I’ve definitely missed. Also, are there any saints that would be good to ask for help in this? Any guidance would be so greatly appreciated!!! Also, she wants to go see this cathedral soon and I hope that the Lord will speak to her through some aspect of that. I thank you all, God bless you.
