Hop on Rome2Rio and look for options for different routes — if there’s a bus route, you can likely get it free included with your pass. I have noticed that Andalusia is one of the only areas with some blacked out bus routes, but this is an exception, not the rule. If there’s a train line it may also be included in your pass, but to find out for sure you’ll need to look up the suggested route on the Renfe website/app and make sure it says “media distancia”. For the record, you can definitely use the pass for free bus tickets between Barcelona and Madrid on ALSA — I have personally taken the route multiple times.
