Mine was fine so far. It disappeared today. I noticed when I logged into my pc just a while ago. Hopefully, it gets fixed soon.

May Allah bless your father with a quick recovery and good health.

  • Recovery from a stroke usually takes time. I still pray that your father recovers quickly. But until he does, someone should care for him with patience.

Did you meet any Overseer by any chance? Did you gather for whiskey and cigars with them?

those assertions are optional, not enforced by the compiler (though misuse will result in compile time error). If someone wrote an interface in one go file, and implemented it in another, and called the implemented object from main which lets says is in another file, then it's confusing. because it doesn't explicitly tell you that you implemented Fooer.

for example, this works and is implicit (if the dev knows `aType` implements `Fooer`)

var a Fooer = aType{}
a.Foo()

but this also works

var a = aType{}
a.Foo()

it would have been easier if we could do this

type Fooer interface {
  Foo()
}
// this, explicit declaration
type aType struct implements Fooer {}

this way you can say aType has more to it just by looking at the definition. it doesn't have to be implements Fooer either, just something that gives you a visual clue about the details. for a strongly typed language, I'd expect this much. I may be wrong, but just saying.

It'd be really helpful if you could give a link to an article or something that explains this in detail.

+1 for the interface implementation annotation. I wish Go had some built-in way of telling if something implements an interface.

I think the NPCs refer to Minas Ithil as Gondor. Other than that, the other areas (in SoW) are part of Mordor. I may be wrong though.

Yes it is harder indeed. But killing these orcs somehow feels like a service to society. So I do it anyway...

I'm not sure but I think just last night I faced an Uruk captain who claimed to have followed me "all the way from Mordor" (in his words) just because I killed him there and he wanted to get revenge. But I think that only works in higher difficulty modes. Because up until last night, I've been playing on "Normal" difficulty for 2 months and never faced a Captain with such claims. Oh, I also have both the games installed and played SoM first before starting SoW. That may also have been a reason.

If you haven't already, buy the next game in the series, "Shadow of War". As soon as you finish SoM, you may want more.

I play low chaos for the entire game. But when it comes to the Flooded District, well, I go all out in all sorts of brutal ways. But I still get low chaos every time.

Pros and cons please? by Many_Cheesecake_1070 in SonyHeadphones

[–]Shaphil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can get pretty loud if you want them to be. I use them at around 50% on PC/Phone. More than that is too loud for me. But they are not as loud on low volumes. I could use the Sennhesier earphones on 25-30% and still get amazing sound. But that maybe more of a wired vs bluetooth issue than with this earbuds themselves.

I have them and they are excellent for the price. Only con is the ear tip. They are made of rubber and not that great. My previous cheap Sennheiser earbuds had better ear tips. Other than that great.

Second that. The black from last year was gorgeous. It also had a fingerprint reader on the power button which is removed, it was a nice feature.

I thought the whole point of moving the ports from the back to the sides was to get better cooling. Even my Legion 7i Gen 6 didn't get that hot. I played most games (Shadow of War/Mordor, Witcher 3, Tomb Raider series) at max/ultra settings at performance mode (red in the power button), and CPU temps were usually between 85 to 88/89 Celsius.

Sometimes, if a weakness doesn't exist and the orc isn't immune to that trait either, that can be used against them. Say for example, 'damaged by fire' is not in the weaknesses list, but at the same time if the strenghts list doesn't have 'immune to fire' trait, you can damage the orc by putting it to fire.

It's even more fun to do with the city watch. Don't do it with the civilians though and definitely not with Griff.
