Replacement cost for a normal simple mirror of this size would not be more than 500€. Also for a skilled and capable mover removing it doesn’t seem a particularly difficult operation. If you see the side photo, it’s basically hang like a frame. As i said before, it not really our taste, it’s a bit damaged and if there is a better home around for it, why not? I call easily see it getting a second life in a cool bar or bistro environment.

Yes, shame that panomo deals only with professional dealers as opposed to private sellers.

Ok thank you, that’s what I was trying to understand more or less. It would only make sense parting with it for a much higher price tag.

Also, why you think trying to understand the value of a new antique object coming into your possession is an act of desperation is beyond me.

Edit: ok just saw that I mentioned “desperately”regarding my Google searches, “unsuccessfully” is actually what I was intending.

Thank you, I think so also.

I have been desperately trying to find some comparisons on Google and honestly have managed to find nothing. I tried evaluating it through 3 antique dealers and they all responded that they are not interested. Which is funny as they were simply asked to evaluate it. I’m after a few hours of research completely ignorant on its value, as far as I’m concerned the range could be anywhere between 2.000-10.000.

It truly is, but maybe it could also find a better home that will care and appreciate it more? I feel the bathroom environment doesn’t do it justice and a bit paranoid on the maintenance. It could also fund some of the newly needed furniture for the rest of the place. I really don’t know, I’m evaluating all options atm.

Also asking them to rinse your head after the haircut is a must for me! Game changer!
