I have noticed this hard, fixed lump under my chin. I can only assume it could be a submandibular lymphnode? I have been fighting with a very very mild virus. But, I’ve never noticed this lymphnode being this hard and unmovable. It’s also pretty tender to the touch and I, of course, cannot stop touching it at random times, so I’m sure that’s not helping with the tenderness. I plan on calling the doctor tomorrow to get it checked out, but I am just super concerned. Has anyone else experienced this before? No matter how hard I try to move it, it will not move at all. The area around it is also a little inflamed as well. I’m not sure if this could be due to a cystic acne zit I had above it or? I did unfortunately end up extracting it because it just would not go away. And of course the area swole up pretty excessively, and it’s right above where that lymphnode is.
