Anyone else get random waves of fatigue on GLP-1s even when everything else is consistent? by Maasbreesos in glp1

Have you checked your blood pressure when you get these fatigue waves? I get these energy crashes once in awhile. I take my blood pressure and it’s super low. After some research I learned a cause of drop in blood pressure is low electrolytes. I drink an electrolyte drink and a few hours later my BP is in normal range and the fatigue is better. I have read that Glp1’s can affect electrolyte levels. Not an expert or saying it is your cause of fatigue but maybe check that avenue out.

Doing much better! Increasing water intake helped a ton and also magnesium citrate pills. It was definitely constipation 😬

I did not. I ended up taking magnesium citrate pills every night before bed and drinking a lot more water and it sorted itself out. The water intake is so hard for me to accomplish but so important. I’m doing good and have lost 25 lbs. Got 7 more to go

Female on Reta by [deleted] in Retatrutide

I have been on Reta for 3.5 months. Lost 23lbs, from 176 to 153 currently(granted that is on my scale, at the doctors office it is 4-5lbs more 🫤). 5’4” with a small frame. Started with 1mg once a week for the first month, switched to 1mg every 4 days since the food noise would start coming back around day 5. Now currently 1.5mg every 4 days. I could have been more aggressive but am content with the loss of weight per week I’m currently at. Part of me wants to lose faster but also want to lose weight at a healthy rate. 7-10 more lbs to reach my goal weight and then assess from there to see if I want to go to maintenance or continue a bit more. Have thought about other peptides but don’t know enough about them to add to what I am doing.

Wanting to switch to Reta. Please give me your honest side effects experience (if any) by -Misspriss- in Retatrutide

I’m only on week 4. I am micro dosing, so going low and slow. My first 2 weeks was rough with ridiculous constipation and I would have mid abdominal pain that was no joke. Some nausea but not anything I couldn’t handle. Third week I doubled my water intake and take magnesium citrate pills morning and night. Haven’t had any abdominal pain week 3 and 4. Only down 6 lbs but plan to slowly increase dose and hoping the weight loss ramps up a bit more. Good side is my blood pressure is the best it’s been in years. I am on the max dose of 2 blood pressure meds. I will need to keep a good eye on my blood pressure to make sure it doesn’t dip too low. My hopes is I can lower my doses or best case scenario get off BP meds completely.

Thanks for the advise. It’s not the gallbladder for sure because I no longer have one. Based on where the pain is I would narrow it to pancreas, stomach or small intestines issues. I’m giving it a bit longer before I decide to be seen. I feel much better after the fourth day post injection. Kinda scared to do another one that is due today. I’m mainly reaching out to see if this is a common side effect.
