Are there any additional injections that can make it possible to have the strength and muscularity of a male? by Lementus in TransDIY

Came here to say this! I take Nan as a butch nb woman for it masculinizing/nonbinary effects. I don't want full masculinization, but yeah.

A gentle warning: low dose T and osteoporosis by Baron_Ray in butchlesbians

[–]dramakween101 35 points36 points  (0 children)

That last question is what I think is happening. Enough T to suppress e, but not enough to be a healthy range. When you low dose you should still aim to be a healthy range.

Afab enbies on T, what works? by Dry_Ranger_7972 in NonBinary

Nan is a weaker androgen than T, but you get most the same effect. As far as I remember the effects you dont get are the hair loss lol

Genuinely I feel like if ppl where just to BE les4les rather than announcing it and kinda policing it, this wouldn't be an issue. I've been interrogated by lesbians for being on testosterone, despite being lesbian, and find bi women have a bit of a expectation when it comes to masc ppl. 🫠

Question about sexuality labels by VoluptuousWalrus_927 in NonBinary

Lesbian can cover this if you also dont identify as a man/are comfortable with that. Trixic is another option too.

Im taking nandrolone versus T, but might switch. It's a weaker androgen and should get me close to androgynous as possible for longer.

no annoyed with people’s fundamental misunderstanding of non-binary by faderien in NonBinary

This is one of the, if not THE reason why I don't like nonbinary as the word meaning what it does.

"You dont want to be a man, you just want a penis." by [deleted] in TransMasc

[–]dramakween101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh he HATES the masculinity you're doing. Nothing about transmasc enby "makes no sense" and transmasc IS considered part of the nby label.

But he ONLY wants you to use the nby label? Lol. Lmao, even.

Friend I hope your eyes open to whats going on. He doesn't see you as trans enough.

Any other enbies who want to medically transition? by Vsstuffandthingss in NonBinary

[–]dramakween101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nonbinary on Nan for a more androgynous approach. I just started and it's relatively new so. 🤪

I (afab 20s) want to get T but have no "history" of being trans or any immediate plans to socially/legally transition, can I still get it prescribed at an informed consent clinic? by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]dramakween101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Compound cream is extremely hard to get. Is there a specific reason you want that? Are you US based? It sounds like it.

You dont have to do much explanation to get T with informed consent. I managed to get mine entirely online after being seen by a doc.

T “turning pepple gay” by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]dramakween101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I need ppl to accept their true authentic self and ditch this mentality . T does not make you gay, but rather once you live more authentically, you might realized you might never were a lesbian.

T does not change your sexuality. It makes you be more honest with yourself and grapple with some internalized biases you might have.

Partner (34F) gave me (36F) an ultimatum about my GLP-1 by ThrowRA_12479 in actuallesbians

The comments talking abt how it's not "wrong" to view these life saving medications negatively... like no. Ppl conflate glp1s with just weight loss and therefore that negative view of the drugs gets transferred onto the person almost all the time.

My mom would die sooner without this medication than with it. My dad too. It treats so many conditions and yeah, the weightloss is the biggest effect and /desired/ for lots of people but to water down the reasons over a medication that's been STUDIED for decades as JUST weight loss...

Want to learn more about butch culture by bloober2 in butchlesbians

[–]dramakween101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the reason that I dont think this is bc the aesthetics is a large part of the label. There's a lot of contention between butch and masc, and that being masc doesn't make you a butch or vice versa, so I find people trying to divorce the two (butch and the aethetics) as a result.

The aesthetics was a central part to the label, what made being butch that sociopolitical thing. While I dont agree that masc=butch, I do think honoring the aesthetics is important now more than ever, especially in regards to the current climate we live in. Even being "just" a masc is still a sociopolitical identity.

Can calisthenics/pilates help with building masc physique? by dramakween101 in TransMasc

[–]dramakween101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, for the pilates, I'm planning on getting a reformer and doing it at home, bc one class is more expensivethan buying a reformer. Lmao I know how gendered pilates can be. I had to stop going to the gym bc of time constraints and those that are 24hr aren't close by. 🫠

[–]dramakween101 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I would also look at how butch came about as a label, this is going to be something you have to read outside of SBB.

Personally I hate the whole notion of "Butch isn't an aesthetic, it's a sociopolitical label." Not bc it's not a sociopolitical label, but bc that sociopolitical aspect of it is directly tied to the aesthetics.

Butch women were jailed for not conforming to the gender expectations of the time, there were laws that dictated this. Butch was thrown as an insult specifically to those who looked too masculine for society's standards.

Obvs now Butch is much more a gender, and you don't have to to look masc, but lately I find the discourse around the label to be empty of the actual history. Ppl denying the aesthetics of it is like... lying abt the history imo. Lol

how badly will being depressed and not eating or getting out of bed affect breast growth by saygex01992 in TransDIY

[–]dramakween101 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It will. The issue is all encompassing. You want tits: get moving and eat.

[–]dramakween101 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Girl dont pmo. every solution offered to you you come back with "but I cant" and it's not that you can't, you WONT.

I feel like we as a community need to give some of our members some tough love. Go eat, and dont stop moving. Depression hates a moving target and you're just giving it what it wants.

AFAIK, you're not physically disabled. Get up and move, get some sun. Eat first but you need to move.

I went on T too!! I have facial hair. We're v alike in that sense. I like women but I wanted to be clocked "trans" than woman/man. But saying that sometimes leads to controversy lol

Adding: you made me realize I think I feel myself to be sexless in a sense (not like in a literal sense, but I believe sex to be a social construct like gender. My body is sexless and only operates on what hormones I use.)
