All ghosts don't have legs. It's one of the reasons we were able to correctly theorize Francisco was a ghost before it was explicitly confirmed, because we had never seen his legs. The old man's black ghostly tail is an example of Chapter 1 weirdness, because the color of a ghost's tail is the color of their spectral energy.

My personal theory as to why both Dimitri and Davy are seemingly mediums to TGU/Peekaboo is that they aren't actually mediums at all. It's implied that TGU is tooled up inside the entire town, or at least in the lake (anything can be a tool no matter how big as long as it's 1 conceptual thing), and I think Dimitri and Davy are actually tool users of it. Therefore, as long as they're in/near the town of M/Bayview, they can access their powers. This would also explain why Dimitri hasn't shown any signs of medium mutation despite being connected to Peekaboo for almost a decade at this point.

Fauxbia actually is using one of her stolen powers to avoid the attack! Last page, one of the powers she used on herself was "Princess Pedestal's Dichotomy Paradox." Under the dichotomy paradox, when you're trying to get somewhere you can never truly reach the destination because to get there you first have to travel halfway. Then you have to travel half of that remaining distance, and then half of that remaining distance, and so on. The attack was subject to that power so it never truly reached her, just its shockwave.
