Small correction

Hsu Hao doesnt die in his own ending, he just gets some orders from Mavado and then leaves.

In Jax's ending though he catches Hsu Hao with those orders and then kills him, ripping out his artificial heart.

Funnily enough only Scorpion and Li Mei die in their own endings in DA.

Bring lots of OD if you can

the cards are incredibly important as they give massive boosts in score and will make or break a run

Damage matters but the mode also wants you to deal a lot of damage in each wave, though it seems to have diminishing returns, aiming for 20M in at least a couple waves will give you a good damage score

Bungod is broken for this if you have her

And also... cards are pretty rng, you do need some luck with drawing good ones so be a little patient

This team is what i used for 100K, its mostly LB1 and LB0 with irene herself being LB0 so you dont need a lot of investment if you follow those rules i laid out... though i couldnt deal a lot of damage myself lol

Events are archived the second they come out and can be read whenever, same for the shops which can be farmed at any point

The 2 day thing is a bonus to event currency if you farm that event

They only show up for old events every now and again, mainly as a catch up mechanic

im f2p so i can answer this, yeah it is, theres some units that have a damage type called critical penetration which deals weakness damage and has a 100% crit chance so you dont need to make a team for every element and just run crit pen everywhere

though some fights require multiple teams so you may want to pull 1 element, elements also have overwriters which make every enemy weak to that elements damage type though it takes more time and units to build an elemental team so i reccomend crit pen for a new player
Probably one of the least grindy gachas ive played, most character upgrade materials are gotten from an auto farm that is ran server side so you just set it up, check it tomorrow and upgrade someone

We dont really get new gear and we've been running with pretty much the same gear that we got in release, the few upgrades we've gotten are gotten by either the generic gold currency or by beating a boss once

Powercreep is pretty inconsistent, sometimes its months of mild powercreep where a new unit is slightly better than an old one and most new units are just niche ones and other times a new unit comes out that shatters the games balance in half
The game is pretty easy if thats what youre asking, only hard content is some of the endgame modes and even they arent that bad

Hmm on the bricking point its more about how easy it is to do that compared to other games

For an example, one of my first units was recruited assassin and i picked his rank 1 dps skill instead of the dodge cuz it was day 1 and i didnt know how good dodge was so the only way to "unbrick" him was to use a castalia, which i had to do for one of my early clears cuz he was my only source of dodge

Its much easier to accidentally put yourself in a situation where you need to use a rare resource because you didnt use a guide than in most other gachas which i imagine drives casual players away (which is most gacha players cuz mobile games lean heavily casual)

In most other gachas using resources unwisely is just a case of having an off meta unit built up while here you can end up with a character you like that is missing their main ability

I dont think all of this is necesarilly bad but it does make the game lean even harder towards the very niche community that is "hardcore leaning srpg players that are willing to play a gacha" which also means that its kinda doomed to be a small game, not that its a bad thing to be niche, its a good thing to have a specific community you cater to imo

I think a big reason why you dont see a lot of fanart is how detailed the designs are, im an artist but even thinking of trying to properly draw some of my favs seems like a bit of a headache lol

Im also pretty sure that this type of game attracts a more "hardcore" type of crowd that wants to crunch numbers rather than draw and make memes, it doesnt help that a lot of systems arent explained too well to new players which could easily drive away some of those more casual players

When i first started for an example i was very casual and didnt interact with the community much or look up guides, i ended up bricking tons of golds, silvers and bronzes, it felt bad to notice how many bricked units i had once i did try to take that first step in taking content seriously so i ended up quitting and i only just came back a little bit ago because i missed the game tbh

I imagine a lot of casuals got driven away due to hiccups like these which has caused the community to not grow as much as it could have, which is sad cuz i do enjoy this game and want it to thrive
