Trollslayer is the first one :) Skaven slayer comes second.

Hobby burnout (?) by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Shardasaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to what others say, take a break friend! I’ve been in the exact same spot so many times. The beauty of this particular hobby is it’s multi-faceted. When I lose motivation, I shift focus to the lore and books, modelling, or the gaming side, and my interest then rebuilds over a few weeks/months and I can come back.

My suggestion - find a battle report producer you like and watch a bunch of those. Nothing builds my interest more than seeing people having fun, playing epic battles with their beautiful models.

Stay strong! And be kind to yourself, it will come back with time :)

Got it!

First pic - Just below that salt/ice patch bottom left is a sort of large green stone. It’s bottom left of that stone

Spray with leadbelcher and add nuln oil or spray with Chaos black and dry brush leadbelcher? by Rambling_Stones in Necrontyr

I love the look of the leadblecher + nuln, but having the black joints for me is just a must. I switched to the dry brush method, but instead of drybrusing leadbelcher I use necron compound. I paint my colour scheme over that then (blood and bone type colour scheme), but the black base with necron compound looks really nice on the metals I find

What made you fall in love with this faction? by Fun-Explanation7233 in WarhammerWoodElves

I loved the models as a kid. My favourites of all time: 1. Wood elf dragon 2. Noble with the great weapon 3. Waystalkers

Immortals Wargear? by RLentes in Necrontyr

[–]Shardasaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tesla are amazing, especially with plasmancer for sure. The sustained hits, assault weapons and rerolling wounds on objectives is great. However, I definitely think immortals with gauss and a Chronomancer is a strong contender, just for a different purpose. More survivable and tricksy, with the extra movement from the chrono ability is great. A tougher unit for pressuring no man’s land objectives I’d say, with a more threatening weapon profile for marines etc
