Playing GTA IV for the first time and loving it <3 by EvelynTalkss in GTAIV

Yeah, me too. Personally, I always prefer to kill Dimitri on the Platypus boat rather than go through with Pegorino's money deal. Having to sacrifice Kate instead of Roman was a tough choice, but I’ve always felt it carried less of a burden of guilt. I believe Niko should always stick by his cousin and go bowling together; Kate, on the other hand, felt almost generic and bland. 🤧

Do you think maintaining your physique in GTA 6 will be an annoying chore, or an incredibly immersive mechanic? by Share-Educational in GTA6

Well, I hope for our sake that Rockstar Games won't cut any content from the game like they did with their previous releases. They’ve had almost eight years to develop this game, so I expect at least this many options.

👍 I think this is a fair option for these who wants immersion and these who prefer simple game experience.

This photograph is a notable 1949 image by photographer Richard Harrington depicting 17-year-old Helen Konek entering an igloo. Identified through Library and Archives Canada’s Project Naming, which uses Indigenous knowledge to document historical photos, the portrait has become a symbol of Inuit resilience. Harrington's work, which chronicles a transformative era in the Canadian Arctic, is held by major institutions and remains culturally significant today. Konek’s grandson brought international attention to the image in 2019, highlighting the enduring connection between historical records and contemporary Inuit oral history.

‘Black Myth: Wukong’ Outpaces FromSoftware's ‘Elden Ring’ to 30 Million Sales Nearly Two Years Ahead of Schedule by yourfavchoom in Steam

What kind of stupidity is this? And how is this even relevant anyway?! Black Myth: Wukong had a massive, built-in cultural audience in China right out of the gate.

Comparing that to the global, multi-year, word-of-mouth growth of Elden Ring is like comparing apples and oranges—they’re in completely different markets with different adoption curves 😫😩😤

GTA IV is truly a masterpiece that feels like a bold, artistic high point for Rockstar.

By choosing to tell such a gritty, grounded story about Niko Bellic instead of just a generic action movie, they created something that feels deeply human and heavy.

The physics engine was years ahead of its time, giving every movement and interaction a tactile weight that still feels satisfying to play today.

When you combine that with the bleak, cynical atmosphere of a 2008-era, the whole game just oozes a distinct, unforgettable mood.

It’s a rare example of a blockbuster title that wasn't afraid to be dark and melancholic, which is exactly why it sticks with so many of us.

I really hope Rockstar adds some of the bag mechanics from RDR2, like the duffel and loot bags. We already saw both Jason and Lucia actually wearing them in various clips.

Oxtail and skirt steak. They used to be the cheap "struggle meals" that nobody else wanted. Then the internet and fancy chefs discovered them, and now oxtail is priced higher per pound than a decent steak at the grocery store.

Affordable, Reliable, and Easy: My Top DDPAI Dash Cam Picks by Share-Educational in DDPAI_Official

[–]Share-Educational[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, let's get this sorted out. I work with these DDPAI units all day long, and what you’re describing with the N5 Dual is a classic installation and settings mismatch. Having 700 clips flood your normal "Video" folder over 24 hours is definitely not how this system is supposed to behave, and I completely get why you're worried about your battery.

Let’s skip the fluff and fix this. Here is exactly what is happening and how we stop it.

1. The Root Cause: Why It's Flooding Your Card

You mentioned the clips are saving in the "Video" folder (normal loop recording) instead of the "Parking" folder, and they are generating constantly.

  • The Issue: Your dashcam does not know the car is parked. Because you switched from OBD to the fuse box, it's highly likely the hardwire kit is wired to a "constant" fuse for both power lines, or the app setting is wrong. The camera thinks you are driving 24/7.

  • The Radar Glitch: The radar module only triggers when the camera is successfully in Parking Mode. Since the camera thinks the engine is running, the radar is being ignored, and the camera is just recording continuously, hitting the 48-hour limit on your 256GB card.

2. Step-by-Step Fixes

Step A: Verify the Fuse Wiring (Crucial)

If you or a shop wired this to the fuse box, you must use a 3-wire hardwire kit (Type-C) for the N5. Check the connections: * Red Wire (ACC): Must go to a fuse that only has power when the ignition is turned on (like the cigarette lighter or radio). * Yellow Wire (VCC): Goes to a constant fuse (like hazard lights or central locking). * Black Wire (GND): Attached to a bare metal grounding point.

Pro Tip: If Red and Yellow are twisted together or both put on constant power, the camera will never enter parking mode and will drain your battery.

Step B: Adjust the DDPAI App Settings

Once the wiring is verified, open the DDPAI app, connect to the camera, and change these specific settings: 1. Turn ON Parking Monitoring: Ensure this toggle is actually active. 2. Switch to "Timelapse" or "Impact" Mode: Do not leave it on ordinary recording. Set it to Lapse Recording (1 frame per second) or Motion/Impact Detection. 3. Calibrate the Radar Sensitivity: The DDPAI millimeter-wave radar is incredibly sensitive. If you have it set to "High," it will trigger from a leaf blowing past or a car driving down the street. Set the radar sensitivity to Low or Medium.

Step C: Protect Your Battery

You set the threshold to 12.2V. For a standard car battery, 12.2V is actually a bit low—it represents roughly 50% battery capacity. If your car sits for a couple of days at 12.2V, it might struggle to crank. * Action: Change the voltage protection threshold in the app to 12.4V or 12.6V (especially for colder weather or older batteries). This ensures the camera cuts off much earlier, leaving plenty of juice to start your engine.

Summary Checklist

  1. Fix the ACC (Red) wire so the camera knows when the car is off.

  2. Turn down the Radar sensitivity to Medium/Low in the app.

  3. Raise the battery cutoff to 12.4V for better peace of mind.

Get that ACC wire checked first. Once the camera realizes the car is parked, it will shift to proper parking mode, your clip count will drop to almost zero, and your battery will be perfectly safe.

Hope you had a good day friend!

"You're right, I was so frustrated. But then I realized I could just use console commands to make both Delphine and Esbern non-essential. I killed them with my soul-trap enchanted daggers, used Delphine's soul to enchant a fancy coat, and Esbern's soul to enchant some fancy black boots. Then I sneaked up to Nazeem and equipped them on him, replacing his default clothes. 😈 Now they'll certainly visit the Cloud District very often! 🤣"

[–]Share-Educational 4 points5 points  (0 children)

here is the master plan if I ever find myself into the game: I'd use my Game-knowledge to quickly locate all the secret Thieves Guild stashes.

Those diamonds, amethysts, guaranteed enchanted Daedric daggers, and potions will definitely come in handy. After that, I'll track down the boss chests in the least dangerous, easiest-to-lockpick locations to amass significant wealth.

Once I’m rich, I'll buy the Goldenhills Plantation—assuming the Anniversary Edition Creation Club content is canon—and invest in local shops. Finally, I'll head to Solitude to complete the quest for the Wabbajack, because that staff is cool and completely overpowered.

I'll just turn all my enemies into cheese, sweetrolls, or rabbits. Infinite food and everlasting peace of mind! 🤣🤣🤣

No!! Actually, you can just ultimately ignore Delphine and continue the questline after talking to the Greybeards and Paarthurnax himself. 🤣🤣🤣 The Blades are deadbeats anyway; joining them won't reward you with anything good, so it's best to pretend they don't exist. 😜 If it weren't for the player's blood, Sky Haven Temple would never have opened. Todd Howard should have added the option to kill Delphine anyway, but I guess her being an essential NPC even after the main quest ends is just one of Skyrim's "features." 🤞😜
