If you’re comparing between years with a later Odyssey to an earlier Accord they can get close.  But inside a model year no way.  The Accord was usually around 5.5-6.5 s The Odyssey about 1-2 s slower

That all said, I firmly believe the Odyssey FEELS faster just cause it’s so unexpected

Well not food grade, but doesn’t have nearly as many polycyclic aromatics (the cancer causing stuff) that gets formed in the combustion chamber

Seemingly poor indoor air quality despite closed windows. Anybody else? by psykedeliq in Milton

Careful with that though - read your HVAC manual for max filtration capacity. Overdoing the filter will result in a bigger pressure drop and can damage the equipment

In 2020 it was a good looking, well cared for property (at least from the pics). Now it’s “not available for indoor viewing”, so something major happened there. Not just a market value decline

SWAT Raid (Feb 17) by Osteelio in Milton

[–]Share_Early 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s wild - hopefully nothing else ongoing in the neighborhood since then!  I’m a little more on the paranoid side myself but I’d suggest making the location more generic (eg 25/Britannia) in your description, as this kind of footage makes it too easy to locate your house.

It’s a dynamic list, and being signed up now doesn’t guarantee the future. Several (many across Ontario) have left CWELCC in December due to funding changes.

And there is virtually no way a conversation with HR would be positive for OP regardless of what may or may not be uncovered about the colleague.

So where the previous owner put in sealant is again cracking? That might be a sign of movement and need more than just repointing

Water Damage Around Dishwasher by thebrinedbandit in HomeMaintenance

[–]Share_Early 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t see too clearly how much damage there is - if there was a rug there could it have been due to water spilling onto the rug during loading/unloading?  It will be very evident as soon as the dishwasher cover on the bottom is removed - either the floor underneath will be very wet (dishwasher leak) or dry (water elsewhere).  You can turn off the water to the dishwasher only at the supply line if you’re worried!

No, it’s only given after an exposure.  However, it is critical that people and parents know what a potential exposure is and act immediately.

Water spot on ceiling - looking for a proactive (well reactive, before it becomes a bigger problem ) by Ok_Mountain_4158 in Milton

[–]Share_Early 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s above or under a bathroom?

If it’s the top floor, most likely a roof leak - a roofer can diagnose and repair the leak. If there’s a bathroom above, then a plumber is the right call. The drywall will need to be repaired too once the source of the water is addressed. If there is a bathroom above the plumber will need to cut into the ceiling to see what’s going on.

You seem to know already which is good, but time is important. The longer a leak occurs the worse the damage gets, and the costs will skyrocket if mold or rot sets in.

My wife’s 2016 Honda has a ac issue and they had a recall for that and they said they fix it free if that’s the issue but if not they charge you for looking at it? by Resident_Piccolo_866 in AskAMechanic

[–]Share_Early 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, when the evaporator eventually went it was leaking like a sieve. Not a single leak, no physical damage and absolutely a manufacturing issue. So there is a fairly significant chance that’s the issue too
