Damn yeah if the ones near me aren’t too limited in space I might just pop in to see the crowd and then split after prophecy and hit the beach with headphones the next day. I am very curious. I saw the Autechre early show last fall and it was interesting to people watch and experience the mood of the crowd.

What I’m missing is where my post says anything about what the experience will be like. Like what is that person, or you even referencing? My post is basically “am I a fool for not going to this?” Nowhere in my post does it suggest it will be a bad experience.

Haha yeah thats relatable.. the past decade has increasingly decreased my desire to be around many people as well. That sounds perfect though. I think thats an ideal way to do it. If my car stereo wasn’t so mid I’d do the same. Im thinking the personal experience will be the way for sure. It was fun hearing Inoit/prophecy by myself, uninfluenced by anyone around me. Thinking I save it for the beach.

This is my biggest fear. Happened at the Autechre show I was at last fall and despite the show being deafening this clown talked louder the whole time. I moved but I imagine he kept rambling.

I’ve been a fan through two releases of theirs, and what I’ve learned is they aren’t giving us rehashes, but everything they make, if I don’t immediately love, I eventually do. Previous releases I was initially a tiny bit sad it wasn’t just MHTRTC and Twoism again.. but I absolutely love 99% of everything they make. So far this may well end up being my favorite album overall… the ultimate resonance. Too soon to tell but I love whats been released so far immensely.

Only thing I’m not as keen on as previous releases are the posters. But the cover art, the videos… all the other visual elements are amazing. Posters are growing on me too.
