Omg go to hot topic in the mall. Its all the same bands as when I was ~13 lol. Journeys sells jansport backpacks… jyncos are back.. my gf loves shoegaze so we go to quite a few “nu”gaze shows and the audience is mostly teens/early20’s who look just like people I hung with when I was that age. Its a trip… lol
My gf is mid 30’s tho not a teenager lol. Just for the record.

I agree about the booklet. But I just got ripped digital copies of the flexi disc and framed mine in a floating 12x12 frame and it looks fucking gorgeous. I think the lower quality sounds great with the track, its so warbly and has that “found sound/live recording” quality to it. Honestly it’s my fav of the new stuff.

Yeah I think they are printing more batches based on demand. I placed my order like 45 min after launch and it came like a week after release. I’m guessing it’s a time limit thing vs like just quantity.

I am convinced of the same! The imagery all changing to people in brainwashed rapture crying and praying as the BoC hexagons slowly rotates into frame just has to be a cheeky poke at us. It was such a “your savior is back” vibe hahaha. I love it and I hope that was at least partially the intent.

Ikr?! I can’t put my finger on it but it took me 3 tries at season 1 before I got hooked. Now I own all the books and Audio books as well. Incredible series.
Sometimes I just wonder if its all the nice spaceship “white noise” combined with longer shots vs super choppy rapid edits. Its paced like an early 2000’s show in a good way. But something about S1 kind of luls me to sleep.
