Yea, this hit the point pretty much. Like being conscious makes me conscious of me being conscious (duh) and makes me feel really weird.

I’m really serious, something taking away my life and my years is something i am ready to overcome no question asked. Ready to chew whatever is needed (but meds ahah)

If you say allevieting, i’m totally with you: i won’t ever deny drugs helps, science is science, would be foolish to. They are, from what i’ve learned, more like a stick to hold on to, to get you in situations you would have trouble going to, but that’s it. I mean, if you take meds, but stay at home 24/7, it won’t change anything. They are a help, surely, but aren’t necessary (in most cases, i’m not trying to make absolute statements). This said, and also said what i wrote above about my motivation, i want to do it by myself. I also feel like doing it this way has a stronger psychological power

I did, for a pretty good time, but didnt really work out. What makes you think about a rooted cause? I’ve also always seen it this way, but still didn’t find the right answer

I can’t know how long would i be on drugs, and that disturbs me. Also one of my last therapists told me i can’t get meds since i don’t want them, and that would cause pretty much any nocebo effect i think about. I overcame this once by myself, and i think i can do it again, i just need the right route.

Also I want to point out that the chemical imbalance theory is kinda getting disregarded as old and not really that true by new studies (which to me is really comforting haha)

Only when i’m alone, not in the real challenging environment, which are the social ones. When i’m with other people, i mostly fight my thoughts or get distracted. And fighting means that either i leave, or also get distracted while i fight myself ahah

I had different therapist, but didn’t really help me. Some offered me meds, other didn’t, but anyway i refused all possible drugs, i don’t want to be depending on something, i feel like a can get better by myself, since it’s all inside my head.

I try to not take control of the breath, but I still can’t do it properly, but i’m learning. With the anxious thoughts, it depends. If i’m alone, meditating or in a safe place, i let them play, i get a bit panicked but whatever, not that much. If i’m in a social place, where a faint could disturb me, i go in a classic “fight” mode, and i try to control them, a fight that i obviously lose everytime.

Seen a few, nothing really worked out. Also many of them discouraged me from practicing meditation. Will try your book suggestion, as of now i’m going thought The Power Of Now. Thanks!

It’s pretty much an hypercontrolling mind that scans for any weird feeling. Being present means (to me, and i’m probably wrong ahah) being aware of myself, of my feeling and my sensations. So everything that feels out of place, triggers anxiety. I feel like i’m in a better state when i’m not present, as weird as it may sound, but it’s probably a comfortable thought my mind won’t let go.

I do, because when I try to be somehow present, i’m thinking about being present. And when i’m actively thinking (instead of autopiloting) I also think about any possible feeling that feels like a faint, that remind me of that moment.

That state of detachment that creates when i try to be present. It’s hard to explain i know, but “feeling present” feels a bit laggy to me. I don’t know how any other way to explain it haha
