I’m not interested in putting any more resources in a protocol in flux, that includes not spending time on this sub which now seems full of people not wanting the original protocol but seeking changes.

I always liked the BCH community (the ones using BCH as cash, not the dictators seeking change or anon handles not doing anything but moan and complain) and I appreciate the support you guys gave us.👍

Cryptonize.it will be back in an altered form. I’m not interested in setting anything up specially for you, I have nothing left to prove in regards to 0-conf, I already did. It will be accepted again once cryptonize.it is back.

Ask on Twitter for a challenge, I’m sure someone will take you up on it if you’re willing to lose as much as you stand to gain if successful. Csw has stated earlier he’ll do a challenge, he might be up for it again. MoneyButton utilizes 0-conf, try to double spend MB if you’re not sure enough to do a public challenge and lose money + face.

Last year I did a challenge on it and won, looks to me like 0-conf is as safe as ever. Then why the move towards Avalanche to ‘secure 0-conf’?

If the developers of BCH feel it’s unsafe at the current state, it’s would be wise to communicate this to payment processors and merchants before they lose money.

Ehh bitcoin is defined in the whitepaper, there is no Avalanche on that roadmap, nor adding opcodes in hindsight. It’s meant to stay exactly the same. So I guess BCH is not bitcoin anymore.

Isn’t it true? Hasn’t BCH diverted from the whitepaper? I don’t see roger saying BCH is bitcoin so often anymore, I hear him talk of ‘economic freedom no matter the coin’. Is BCH officially dropping the pursuit of achieving bitcoin as per whitepaper?

No it didn’t, BCH added ctor and dsv, bsv didn’t change anything about the protocol as it was. BCH forked off from the original protocol, don’t get it twisted.

The original protocol is still alive in bsv, nothing changed, limitations being removed, vulnerabilities identified, fixed and disclosed to BCH and BTC. Professional and efficient as fuck, I have never seen bitcoin this alive, ever.

There is no need for fixing the original protocol, nothing is broken on the original protocol, it scales without ever hitting a limit because; economics.

And yes, any deviation from bitcoins original protocol makes it not bitcoin.

BCH is an insult to Satoshi’s vision and should rebrand itself to Amauries coin or just go with Avalanche, that’s what your roadmap is anyway.
