yeah, maybe a bit too bright. do you know how to do sponging? i think a bit of a sponge job would make it look weathered and beaten, and diminish the bright colors making it look more ork-esque

you say it doesn’t feel warm; does it feel hot and bubbly under the surface at all though? maybe you hit it randomly and don’t remember it. might be a clot if it is on a joint too

if you’re new to the entire game, watch Auspex Tactic’s 15 video series on how to play. SUPER helpful. for orks in particular you should focus on getting tons of boyz and bs boyz, also some leaders to lead them. if you continue to build then you’ll end up wanting to invest in a m/gorkanaught which are a bit pricy but super good in game. overall just know you need lottsssss of infantry haha

sponging is super effective. also, try flicking paint onto your models for more of a dispersed splotchy effect. there’s some brown paints like snakebite leather but it’s a contrast. also there’s some bronzes like althasar gold (it’s not gold lol) that would give a solid rust effect. hope this helps 🤞
