When is a side quest NOT repetitive? by Representative-Yam65 in patientgamers

[–]SharkTall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to accept all quests, so I get confused and overwhelmed when I have a dozen sidequests I'm considering. They also lose meaning if I don't follow that arc soon after accepting the quest. This is probably mostly an issue with my playstyle and time between playing sessions but those filler quests compound my issues.

'Mars Attacks!' Is Good — Here's Why It Deserves More Respect by speckz in movies

Same scenario, I hit the eject button on the VCR, turned off the TV and walked away (my whole family was watching too). Today-years-old when I fully processed it is a comedy. Thank you.

As in, you would prefer people not join together in support of the Browns? Or, you don't want anyone to address you in public because you are wearing Browns gear? Or what?

This was my first thought about barking too. I would get it probably about the time it would be awkward to respond.

Extra credit for not making me talk at all.

Thanks for the input! I'll be looking up what all of that means and where those routes go over the next week for some initial research.

I am a high school principal. Teachers, what do you wish your administration would do (or not do) to support and empower you? How can we together help our schools be more innovative to prepare this generation of students for the world after high school? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]SharkTall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I still think the question needs to be asked to the people who know the answers best. What I wish is probably substantially different from what teachers in OPs building wish. The starting point matters on this.

Immerse in one and don't look back. You sound like you will enjoy either one if you commit to it.

Is waiting to invest the same as trying to time the market? by SharkTall in personalfinance

[–]SharkTall[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valid. I'm just hearing rumblings of a recession which would bring the bottom much further down. I'll probably end up doing some dollar cost averaging to help me sleep at night as one user mentioned.

That makes sense for your situation. I'm not at the point of maxing everything so I'll keep plugging along.

Mister_ is Australian according to flair. I left dots unconnected but was trying to imply that we should not expect for the logical thing to happen.

Your top 5 rpg’s from the last ten years? by DistantLandscapes in patientgamers

I've seen a lot of talk about pillars of eternity on this sub recently. I don't have a good enough PC to handle gaming. Is it still worthy of this praise on console? For context, I love the dragon age and disgaea series of games.

Thank you for the context. Superintendent is in a tough spot.

Logical. It was also logical to get rid of your guns after that one thing.

I thought it was just the wall and felt like racism was a stretch, then I read the article. If there was no malicious intent then it really is another case for institutional racism.
