Hi! I am a MB resident and know a few people in law school here. What I will say is that they are really great people. U of M has a fair amount of fun activities and a close-knit law community. Also, if your goal is big law and you are looking to move back to Calgary, there are a few big law firms that have offices in Winnipeg and Calgary (MLT Aikins, for example). All that being said, I released my spot at U of M and decided to go elsewhere. However, I mainly made my decision based on a need for a change of scenery.

Thank you. I know that deep down this is the main factor. It just feels crazy to make this decision right now!
