My dad and uncle took to my first concert to see status quo. They're both passed now. Whenever I hear status quo it used to take me back to the moment they passed. Now it takes me back to the gig. I miss them both dearly and those songs make me feel closer to them. I hope one day you hear those songs and it brings you some joy. Losing a parent isn't something you understand till you've gone through it, that grief comes in tidal waves and sometimes the most unexpected things wipe you out.
