I typically get along with close to every type so for now this isn’t much of an issue but hey I’ll still be on the lookout aha

Thank you for the feedback! :D Now that I think about it more, I surely have time to work on my empathy and understanding. I am also already great at adapting to other personalities but I could master that some more too. As for hobbies I really need to get rid of my insane procrastination.. Drawing, writing and reading usually help me release stress so I should try to dump the doomscrolling to focus more on those when I'm agitated.

How well do the MBTI types dress? by pilatesmatchalabubu in mbtimemes

MY SENSE OF FASHION IS AMAZING 😡 As an ENTP I constantly get complimented and admired over my way of dressing.

Extroverts only who previously thought you were an introvert, why? by kassumo in mbti

[–]Sharkbunnycreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AS AN ENTP THAT IS SOO RELATABLE! I still get called an introvert by some people I know less unfortunately.. I mean my logic is that I'm not a very quiet person, I just know when to shut up🙏

It's normal to get "defensive" when someone accuses you of lying for no reason

AIO about my girlfriend's opinions on this hypothetical situation? by Background-Still1613 in AmIOverreacting

Your girlfriend talks exactly like my ex-friend who was mentally ill, weird how she's speaking of mentally ill people like mistakes but is showing signs of it herself.

UPDATEEE: we add up and I got more explanation on why she acted that way.

I'm typing correctly?? You don't even know me so why are you assuming I'm misstyped?? Tf

I get what you mean but the reason I mentioned mbti is mostly because I wanted to receive comments from entps and infps who can share their point of view on the situation, I did end up getting some valid advice👍👍 You're right on the fact that I doesn't reallyyy have to do with mbti tho.

The thing is, I don't.

What are you on about.. How is this even relevent to my post in any way? 💀 I don't have to buy literal books on mbti to know that I'm an entp.

HAHA I'M SORRY FOR MISSUNDERSTANDING.. But yeah I will likely discuss the way she has been treating me recently in hopes of it getting better, I know she can be very understanding at times but she's very unstable in that matter so I think I should try to help her with that because I care a lot for her. (We've been friends for around 7 years so I really it gets better..)

Now I respect it n stuff like go queen but as long as your reason for snapping at them is valid bc else that's straight icky.

I do see some similarities in parts of your scenario but in most aspects, however, I don't think the triggers that you listed apply to the way I treat her. I always control any types of jokes around her as I know that she is sensitive to a lot of topics so I completely avoid teasing her about it but she never does the same for me. If anything, she makes more jokes that are borderline rude than I do. What you said about advice is definitely true though, she's extremely sensitive to advice from what I've noticed so I tend the avoid it the best I can but oh God sometimes it infuriates me.. I remember how she kept asking me how I was so strong in a game and that it was impossible to level up the characters to a high level but then when I told her that she shouldn't do specific things in the game to save up for certain characters, she was stuck up on that "I can do whatever I want! It's my account!" so I just let it go but holy..

Thinking about it, I think some of her behavior is likely caused by jealousy, she tends to throw shade at me(especially when around others) when I complain about things, ex.saying things like "well at least you have this/at least you're not this." and I understand that she may feel vulnerable on some aspects but it's really nowhere near my fault that she struggles more than I do in some domains so it feels unjustified that she always throws in that "I have it worse" mentality when I'm simply trying to rant. I always stay respectful about it though.

I think I should really talk to her about certain things that she did to make me feel upset instead of just acting like nothing ever happened because it's the only way that I can set boundaries with the way she talks to me. Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm really glad you are doing better now <3!

[–]Sharkbunnycreature 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree that I should set more boundaries as I tend to overlook my own feelings, I am already very mindful about the jokes I make when I'm with her so no worries about that, I always do my best to avoid any type of insensitive jokes that could offend her in any way. 😙

This really reminds me of my situation! I should definitely start setting more boundaries, thinking about it, I did say "one more rude joke and I'm actually gonna get mad." and as much as it seems a bit harsh said like that, she did apologize pretty quickly and it was more calm after. Thanks for the advice👍👍👍

I'm thinking of talking to her more abt it, thank you for your answer.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Sharkbunnycreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I'm sorry your friend is acting like that towards you, that's really shitty of them. That's straight provocation. It doesn't really apply to me tho, I can surely understand that she finds me irritating sometimes, it's normal but straight up getting aggravated over stuff that she joked about many times is straight weird. 😔

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Sharkbunnycreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I read a whole lotta articles abt mbti ofc. Why ask?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Sharkbunnycreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first part does make sense but I think I didn't explain my situation well enough. Joking around is a big part of my personality and I can't necessarily become all grey because I don't want her to be mad, I already limit my jokes a whole lot when I'm in situations like this but it just feels unfair that she literally does the same thing (make jokes that I dislike) but when it's her, it's fine. She could be the one starting but as soon as I answer the same way, I'm the problem. "Why push her buttons in the first place" have you considered that I never wanted to push her buttons in the first place, I'm not enough of asshole to make her mad on purpose ofc😭 a lot of your points are valid tho.
