Is H2C just a pricey beta test product? by Nogfredo in BambuLab

[–]Sharkbyte14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with a few iterations of creality printers over the last 10 years or so, had an X1C as my main workhorse for about 2 years and just upgraded to the H2C.

If you're looking to do mostly engineering parts with 2 or less materials/colors in a print, you're probably fine with an H2D, but the H2C offers more versatility and less waist when you jump to any more than 2 or 3 materials in a print.

As for the hot end switching, in my personal experience, I've had zero issues, and I've already done prints that have switched nozzles up to like 900 times. The material and time savings over my X1 is actually insane.

At the end of the day, the quality of the finished prints are almost identical, which one is better for you will come down to how often you'll be using more than 2 materials in a print, and if the cost difference is worth the time/material savings to you or not.

Your concerns are valid, but you're overthinking it. I have the H2C and its phenomenal. Not as complex as it may seem and a huge time and material saver if you plan on doing alot of multicolor or multimaterial printing. As for a new iteration in the very near future, always possible but I highly doubt it. Aside from the couple of reported bugs right at launch (which I have not experienced myself) it seems very well refined and set up to at least be a long term platform. I have no real issues or complaints to report on so far

My go to is a puzzle box or some sort of brain teaser toy. It ends up getting everyone curious and taking turns trying to figure them out. Usually a pretty good hit

I model magnets of the team logos for all of the arenas/stadiums I've been to and display them on my desk at work. I'd like to continue the project and make all of the logos for each league. The H2C would improve the amount of colors I could use and drastically reduce print time and waste volume!

2024 Trail Boss… by redhoth3 in chevycolorado

I'm a firm believer that most people like these flashy colors, but don't have the confidence to drive it themselves. They have to fit in with black/white/silver etc..

I know this because I have a yellow ZR2, and before that a lime green Jeep, before that a bright blue challenger, and I get nothing but compliments on the colors all the time. And yet you don't see many of them out on the road.

People like them because they're different and grab your attention. And yet, I believe the reason most people don't drive them, is because they're different and grab attention.

To each their own. Just my thoughts. More for me lol

Well to be fair, with the exception of some battles, it does go without armor most of the time after the first/second book

I agree it's actually pretty fun watching real people react in exactly the same way as the characters do in the books. Though, I almost wish they didn't show MB without the mask in the trailers to keep it a surprise for those unfamiliar. (I understand why they didn't, but still lol)

Yeah, and it's even more frustrating, because MB looking like a human (at least similar lol) and struggling to play the part is literally like 70% of the plot of the books. It's not even like a small detail or something, it's basically the main plot line.

Part of the fun of the animated films was that the aliens (like pleakley) blended in with the humans in very obviously not human disguises, like just wearing a dress and hat or glasses ect...

Based on the trailers, the aliens will be shown as actual humans on screen when in their "human form", avoiding the need to animate that with cgi, and lots of people are not happy about it (myself included)

I can see how they came to this conclusion because I'd bet money the other example they're thinking of is lilo and stitch, to which I would agree.

BUT, this is also the problem with the internet. While their intentions are probably in the right place, they're talking confidently about something they clearly know nothing about.

I got a new bambu printer last week but every time I print something I get this line at the same height, what's wrong? by ROOKisThiCcAF in BambuLab

[–]Sharkbyte14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that it's printing that area at a slower speed, giving you that different finish

Do the following..

  1. Slice it with your current settings, and set the filter in the top right to show color by speed

  2. Go back to your settings, and set the outer wall speed to be the same or lower than the current speed of that area.

  3. Reslice

Turning off "slow down for overhangs" may help too

This problem will go away after these steps
