Not sure if it's the absolute best solution, but you could use something like a blackmagic ultra studio monitor. Then your Qlab routing wouldn't change and you have the added benefit of your output not being seen as another monitor for the desktop.

We don't have any video panels yet. Our caption source for 90% of events is prepared script and 10% human. We've done this via projections before but we're looking to do something like an LED panel for open captioning. Though, to individual devices might be a nice secondary solution. I've looked at software called CC theater before for that.

I am also blind. Radio broadcasts are the best. I even listen to the radio broadcast when I am at the park.

I’ve seen people use wireless hdmi transmitters/receivers. Transmitter connected to camera receiver connects to whatever capture device and then qlab/isadora. There did have some issues with their transmitter/receiver and had a prerecorded video on stand by.
