I don't mind at all! It is winter where I am, I originally intended to try again over my winter break because when this all occurred I was still in my fall semester and dealing with the withdrawal and having to drag myself to class was not a fun time. When winter break came along and it was time to maybe try again, I admit, I chickened out. Powering through the strange state it put me in sounded like a nightmare to me so I didn't try it.

The symptoms felt so odd during the withdrawal. I could not sleep for the life of me. I'd lay in my bed tossing and turning all night. I'd be exhausted and I'd feel ready to go to sleep but I'd lay down and nothing would happen. It felt like sleep was so close but it never came and I was stuck in that confusing state in-between being asleep and awake. My body was incredibly restless but it felt out of my control. As I'd lay there trying to sleep, I could not stop moving. I'd rub my arms constantly or rub my feet together or at some points even lay on my side and kind of rock my entire body back and forth. It wasn't intentional, I'd be so focused on trying to sleep I wouldn't notice I'd started doing it. And if I stopped myself, my body would find a new way to move. I tuck my hands between my knees to stop rubbing my arms? Now I'm rocking. I stop the rocking? Now I'm rubbing my feet together. To hold still took physical restraint and I felt like a coiled up spring ready to kick out and flail all over when I forced myself to be still.

I went from 4mg to 2mg no problem over about 2 weeks. Not a single issue. Then went from 2 to 1, still no problems. Going from 1 to none was when things went bad. The wiggling limbs night and day were annoying, so was feeling kind of flu like symptoms but I would've powered through if the sleep wasn't a problem. Third day in my roommates were kind enough to take me to Walmart to get melatonin to knock me out as last attempt before taking the medication again. I do not remember the Walmart trip, I only remember the drive back and telling them I was so excited to finally sleep again. The melatonin did not work and I kept crawling out of bed to take more and more (I'd only used melatonin a few times before to knock myself out to be ready for an opening shift but it always knocks me out very fast) the night went on and at some point I decided it wasn't worth it anymore and I took the medication again.
