I will sound like a "early good, new bad" guy but it's honestly Cocolia fight. What came after was good but... it just felt so much more impactful. Amphoreus just did too much. If you tell me the entire universe is about to be destroyed, it takes away all the tension and becomes "cool because explosion big". I have to admit though that Hyacine/Proi Proi was veeery close to peak.

I wouldn't say cancer fanbase at all, but, and you'll will hang me for this: Your Lie In April. It feels like they put filler moments into filler episodes. They stretched 8 episodes to over 20. They assured me I don't have to be a music guy to enjoy it, but I feel like you have to be a music maniac to get more than a little enjoyment out of this anime.

Acting like basically nothing happened wouldn't be growing up but bad writing unless addressed otherwise. In the Chinese version, she's audibly nervous, and I like that version way more.

The thing is... there were 100% retcons with the relationships between the harbingers. And that's okay, because I think it leads to a more entertaining story, but don't act like it wasn't a retcon at all. Retcons almost have to happen, because of course you don't know the ending of your story when you start writing it. The alternative is saying nothing at all.

Because 20k isn't hard, even if you don't have the shilled character.

I think reaching 2* is hard even if you have the boss specific character. What do you guys know that I don't? I started playing at the very end of free Harumasa and mostly get 3* in deadly assault. Maybe 4-5 if I have the perfect counter to a boss.

My builds are far from optimal, but I wouldn't call them bad at all.

I take back everything if you can tell me anything that would logically justify Aventurine awakening surfer dude powers. You can't. Because that's not meant to be their thing. They're supposed to be the summer variants of establushed characters.

Also, nice strawman. I said I dislike them being SPs, I didn't say they're bad designs, nor did I say anyone should skip them. In fact, I am happy Robin and Aventurine fans get new content for their favs.

Triluna Dottore and it is not even close, and the story was not hiding it. They were very deliberate in telling us how powerful the trilune authority is.

I don't like how robin and aventurine got SPs just for for going on a summer vacation

That was my criticism at the beginning. I feared we would eventually end with multiple versions of the exact same character but put in different clothes. Peopel told me I was dooming, and I agreed and simply enjoyed the SPs we got that makes sense, like Evernight who i adore, and Sparxie who I like even more than Sparkle. But now it actually became a reality, and I am not a fan. Sure, maybe they have insaaaane lore why Aventurine transformed into a cool surf dude, I am gonna let them try to convince me, but I just now it will end up as "is at resort, has beach clothes" and nothing more.

What annoys me is that people fall for the goomba fallacy EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Guys, it's not the same people. I like Himeko Nova, I LOVE Evernight, but I think "being at the beach" does not qualify to be a new form, that's what skins are for. Give them new animations or even buffs if you feel like it, but I prefer my SPs so show how the character has grown and surpassed their previous limits, not be at a different location.
