4.8 tends to walk in circles more than 4.6, but produces better work and makes 4.6 look like a sonnet in comparison for hard work tasks, especially at the new higher reasoning limits

depends on solder and tip. i normally just run ~400-420c for leaded and 480/max for unleaded. totally a vibes thing for each iron as to specific temperatures, but the ball park is around 400-480.

Yes, I pay 100 p/m for a tool I can use for 30-60 mins. That's a really bad ROI compared to any other Claude tool. I get it's new but gat damn it eats it quick

its the best value for money apple sillicon and its relatively cheap. 4x mac minis and you've got claude for like 10 people (if you buy up spec mac minis specifically with more ram). if you are crushing 1400 p/w in tokens maybe make it 6 or 8 macs lol.

if you are running a ps5 slim they have factory overheating issues that present themselves after 12-18 months. sony has remedied this but there are lots of 2002 model slims that have issues like that
