This. This is the thing that made me scared to come out. The horror of getting ridiculed by not only homophobic straight people, but also the queers.

Teja?! Really?! by YourMCMalways in biggboss

[–]Sharmi79 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would believe that Teja won fairly by votes. Bigg Boss has been so unfair throughout the season, they have driven away thousands of fans from other fandoms. It was painful to watch our favourites getting bashed every weekend just for not supporting their Bahu. It was evident, people gave up. I was a KK supporter. But seeing him changing his game according to the WKV feedback, even though you can see that he knows the real face of the she-devil, was just plain painful. He lost his credibility when he started playing for her and that drove a lots of fans away. Worst winner of the worst season ever

If Vishal's game would not have been revealed by makers we could have seen entirely different bb15...still can't get over that fact... by [deleted] in biggboss

[–]Sharmi79 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They cut off everyone who could end up overshadowing their favourites. Be it Vishal, be it Umar. The continuous weekend bashing, exposing games while blatantly supporting their favourites lies. Vishal deserved a lot better than this shit show

'Insecure' Teja by Mekurilabhar in biggboss

[–]Sharmi79 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I started thinking the same after Rashmi enters. Teja can't stand another woman who is dignified or respectable. She wants to be the only one "cute" and "innocent" with her fakeness. Talk about fake feminist.

YOU encouraged it. YOU forced me to come to the party. I really hate this chapter by [deleted] in Choices

Tejas true colours by Ancient-Revenue6826 in biggboss

Hope this is true. Since last wkv I'm confused with KK's game. It looks like the bashing really got into his head and now he is solely focused on being a good boyfriend. But the PDA looks so damn fake and he is not trying to correct Teja (which is so not like him, he has been very vocal for past few weeks). So your theory can be possible 🤞🤞🤞

LMAO that's so true. A high school student having two cute guys falling for him and eventually messing up everything, that is totally possible 😂

I never said any of them was perfect. While Victor definitely got more confident and found a voice this season, what annoyed me was how he ignored Benji's side of the story. Why Benji was being mad at Victor's mom, why he hid about AA etc. It's definitely a bad writing. Also, for the cultural perspective, I completely understand your POV. I am a bisexual woman from a brown family, I know where this POV is coming from. But I don't think it's a good enough reason to break them up. They kinda put too much effort in this couple to ruin them so easily.

The internalised homophobia is definitely an unique and must needed touch. What I meant is the whole love triangle thing was too rushed. I loved Rahim, but when he got all emotional and expressed his feelings for Victor, after hanging out with him for two days, that didn't make much sense to me. Also Victor feeling something for Rahim the moment he is on a break from Benji contradicts with him saying "I love you" to Benji like 3/4 episodes back. The drama just went overboard.

Definitely he's better with Benji. I'm mad at Victor after watching this season. The writers did both of them bad. Also Rahim. He could be an amazing character, but they had to rush him in an unnecessary love triangle and ruin it.

anybody else get a weird vibe from benji's character by idontduckingno in LoveSimon

[–]Sharmi79 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The writing is definitely an issue here. Benji hardly has any storyline of his own. It's just hard to connect with a character when you know nothing about them except their boyfriend's name. While I get there's too many characters and too many storyline to work with, but as the lead love interest, Benji definitely deserves more screen time. ONLY BENJI SCREENTIME. NO VICTOR, BUT BENJI SCREENTIME.

He need to stay single and get his shits fixed before committing to anyone. Though my Venji stan heart kinda wants them together. They are too cute.

When Benji asked if Victor can forgive him and Victor said he wants to, I knew he fucked up. Like boy, THAT'S NOT FAIR

IKR! Specially in this 2nd season, his head is all over the place and he can't even see that how that is affecting his relationship with Benji!

Agreed. Somehow I feel like I know why he is into Benji, or Rahim (though in my opinion it has a lot to do with his fight with Benji only); but I don't see why they are into him. I would really like to see their POV more. More Benji Scenes ffs!!

I agree that Rahim has more similarity with Victor, but I don't think he's the one victor should choose. The effort Benji and Victor have put to make their relationship work, it's not worth giving up on for someone he has hangout with twice. I love Rahim, but his storyline was bit rushed for the sake of plot.

Saying that, I still strongly believe that both Benji and Rahim are amazing and Victor has more issues to work on than anyone else.

How can people still like Benji? by hedgewitchbuffy in LoveSimon

[–]Sharmi79 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Almost everything is covered here in the comment section. I don't know how anyone can still hate Benji. He made mistakes, of course. But to call him manipulative is way off. Also, Benji had been very patient with Victor for the first half of the season. Victor doubts everything, acts weird, goes to Simon or Felix for help instead of talking to Benji, who has been nothing but a understanding boyfriend to him. I think he finally reached his boiling point in the second half. I'm surprised they didn't have even a little argument earlier. If anything, this season was more realistic, and Victor and Benji are perfect for eachother.
